World series

Walking around the neighborhood with the kids and their friends trick-or-treating has brought good luck. 10 runs scored by the Rangers in the hour we were gone.

Next game, we’ll get the same crew together and just wander around the neighborhood in costumes.
 
Two soft contact hits on Dunning, then gets a double play grounder.

Thinking back to August, if Dane didn't step up as a solid starter (from the pen covering for injuriesto starters) and if we didn't trade for Chapman (stabilized the Pen for a good 4 week stretch) we don't even make the playoffs

Now we're one game away from closing this thing out. Funny game, baseball
 
It's fun to win a game with a big early lead in the series, where I'm not sweating it.... you know stressed, getting pissed off, complaining, etc.

So H2RA, what are your thoughts on Bochy going with Eovaldi Wed. night.?

I'm thinking he is thinking Garcia is out, we got momentum and dont want to gamble giving a game away Wed. to AZ to rest Eovaldi another day. I suspect he also thinks AZ will start walking Seager to avoid his bat.

Using Dunning tonight, he has no choice does he? Other than Evo he has no one with 3 innings in him available. Gray on 1 day rest for 3 innings? Hope not.

Tomorrow is worrisome. If Evo can't get 6 full it can get dicey. Not sure you want smith back in there. 7 thru 9 with sborz, chap, Jose is the only legit hope after 6 full from nate

If we score 10 runs again that'd sure help... but I wish Jose hadn't come in.
 
I wasn't sure of this win until the last out in the bottom of the ninth, my 2011 PTSD is so strong right now I cringe at every pitch. Coming into this evening, I felt like todays game was going to be a 12-8 or 11-7 kind of game as both teams were out of pitching and that is what it ultimately turned into. The back end of the bullpen didnt hold up but the lead was so big it didnt matter. Hell of a job though by Heaney and Dunning. Semien showed up big time and Seager is worth every freaking penny. The Rangers have chance to exorcise all the demons and for all our sakes I would like to see it tomorrow. I cant see anyone but Eovaldi starting tomorrow and if he gets back to big game Nate status and the Rangers can keep the bats going we all might be in for a truly epic night.
