World series

I'm glad Jose only had a handful of pitches and can pitch Wed. night.

Eovaldi will have had 4 days rest - I suspect he will be on fire and bring the HEAT!

Sons and I had a great time at the Watch Party at Globe Life. My only gripe - the music they played between innings was (a) horrible and (b) much too loud.

Mlb network guys are questioning the use of leclerc tonight. Floyd especially, the others are critical but give bochy props for his past record. I'm glad we're in the position we're in, just hoping our pen is ready to close this thing out

The 2 times we went the music at the ballpark was unbearable for an older folk like me (and the wife). I guess the days of organ playing are over. The one time I went to old comiskey that place rocked. No music other than the organist (pre nancy faust)

Watching Marcus Simien interviewed by ensminger and Floyd on mlb tv, that guy is impressive in the way he thinks his way around the game of baseball. Always has been a smart player but that interview was 100x of impressive on his approach for this game.

The local media in dfw NEVER gave interviews like that when I lived there. Hopefully the dfw media wakes up to ranger baseball soon.

So I woke up and see that things did get interesting. Glad they won, but I'm glad I missed the partial meltdown.

I'm glad we won, but I'm sweating the next game(s). It seems like our entire pitching staff is exhausted. Some of our starters will pitch well, but none of them seem to be able to pitch deep into the games. That's leaving things to our bullpen, and though some of those guys have overachieved, they're having to go out there for 3+ innings every friggin' night. After a long season, that's hard to do. Jose LeClerc has made 13 appearances this post season - 13. The guy gets no rest.

I remember baseball as far back as 61, but 1964 was the first time I was old enough to follow a pennant race. I remember my older brother and more knowledgeable types than me talking about how Gene Mauch was going to kill the Phillies big lead the way he (mis)handled the staff. Epic meltdown. The pitchers he needed the most ran on fumes at the end.

I don't think that happens here, the Rangers have too much fire power and are on a roll. Also AZ seems to want to give us games via mental breakdowns and errors.

With the 64 phils, and the way koufax and Drysdale were used and abused until the arms were toast , I've always had a different view on pitching and over use. Hoping it doesn't bite us now or next year. This team is special. 51 years / 52 seasons and it's thiiiis close. The fan base is deserving

Gene Mauch: '64 Phillies' tragic figure

Eovaldi as gotten in trouble a few times but holding fire through 3.

0 - 0

Need Rangers to get some lumber on the ball !!

Gallen is throwing a no-hitter and Eovaldi has been in trouble the entire game. I can't believe that we're not losing.

EOVALDI retires the side in the 6th!!!!

He has flirted with danger long enough. Me thinks he is done tonight. Who was warming in the bullpen?

Sborz, Chapman, Jose to close this

I'm dying, Jose was up in the Pen warming up last night with a 9 run lead. 9 run lead. Hope we can close this baby out
