I'm so fired up for WS, waiting since 2011 for the Rangers.

The Rangers made so many huge outs to win today.

Gray was our MVP today IMHO !!!

Seager was close runner up!

Where are the rest of the Ranger Zealots!!!?

Are you in church, Sarks pre-game bunker, brothels in Juarez, busy helping arm Ukrainians?

Sorry WM, I was in a brothel in Juarez, but I did watch the game. It's called multi-tasking.

Very happy to see the team win after Max went out. Also concerned about Garcia.

GO RANGERS!

Local sports show said Garcia was in street clothes after the game

Wont read anything into the statement but NOT good.

Tuesday:

Start DUNNING and ride him as long as he is SHARP!

After that Bochy you decide. Heaney has been mediocre. Perez ? Stratton again?

Very mixed bag

Speaking of MVP:

Think about the Ranger DEFENSE tonight???

No soft zones, tremendous fielding, laser throws and key plays to keep the snakes off base and off the scoreboard!

What a huge win and even with the russian roulette that is Aroldis Chapman the bullpen came through again with 6 innings and just one run surrendered. The Ranger bats are still way too quiet but were just enough tonight to get the win. Gray’s performance the last two appearances has been huge and with Dunning and Heaney not used tonight the path in game four is a little more viable. Still need to find two more wins.

LETS GO RANGERS!:texasflag:

WM, I was watching TV - just got too involved in the game to post any comments on Hornfans. BTW, IMO the highlight was the marvelous DP that Seager started on that rocket ground ball in the 8th inning - with the terrific relay throw from Semien to get the batter at first. That got Chapman out of his inning with only the one run scoring. Also interesting to note that the D'Back baserunning was certainly not at its best.

Saw Bochy's interview, he didn't commit to anything but sounded like he was leaning towards Evo. Probably a meeting with Maddux tonight will determine

Just saw on ESPN that Heaney will be starter tomorrow. Expect a pitching by committee game with 2-3 innings per pitcher to try and get to the Sborz/Chapman/LeClerc rotation late in the game. Meanwhile, if Garcia is out for a game or two it really becomes time for Semien to step up his bat, the RBI tonight was a start but Texas is going to need a big offensive night tomorrow and it starts with Marcus.

LETS GO RANGERS!:texasflag:

RIP, Frank Howard. An original ranger who homered in the first inning of the first game at Arlington stadium. My buddy and I were running up the ramp in left center when the ball was hit, saw the flight of the ball when we got to the walkway. Fun game that was!

Best case scenario. Glad to see Evo get 4 days off, Monty will get 5 days off and he really needs the rest

I know it is THE WS, all hands on deck, etc.!!

However, E pitched Friday, asking him to pitch AGAIN Tuesday is a bridge too far, IMHO. I don't think he will choose that... I could be dead wrong.

I hope you were actively counseling the young women in the brothel you visited to give up sports ignorance and convert to Hornfans.com for full sports conciousness plus cool bling!

Oh, wait re: cool bling!!

On a more serious note:

The Rangers may not win the WS.

However, I'm so impressed with Bochy as a Manager for the Rangers and with his especially difficult / challenging post season decisions. So far his decisions translate mostly into WINS!!!

Gray was going to be game 4 starter until Max went down rather early. I truly believe if the game had still been 0-0 or even 1-0, Bochy probably would have gone to Heaney/Dunning and preserving Gray for a longer start in game 4.

with rangers up 3-0 when max got hurt, we really needed to grab that first road game win so he felt bringing Gray in was best option to preserve lead, imo.
IF, IF Rangers can somehow take game 4 and go up 3-1, I almost wonder if Bochy holds eovaldi for game 6, Monty for 7. that's a far fetched theory that I just threw out there, not expecting it. throwing eovaldi in 5 allows him for a possible short appearance in a game 7 if necessary, like Monty vs stros.

all eyes are on Garcia at the moment. if he's out, dbacks will literally walk seager every AB(assuming semien isnt on base) and make the other guys beat them. maybe moving Carter to 2 slot(who's been getting on base) and seager to 3 wouldn't be a bad idea if garcia is out. so many decisions I wouldn't want to make. :idk::confused2:

I'd word it differently. The Rangers may win the WS, and I'm so impressed with Bochy as a manager for the Rangers.

I hope it works out that way. Evo and Monty need the rest.

He got smoked. He left the game because a rocket came back at him. Watching his 9 outs, most were absolutely smoked.

That's the way baseball go. Chapman gave up 2 base hits on really good pitches.
Scherzer allowed two hits in three scoreless innings. Smoked? The evidence indicates otherwise. BTW, the line drive hit him in the 2nd. He came back out and completed the 3rd (no runs allowed) before exiting due to back spasms. Why the venom for Scherzer?
