where is greggo?

John Rhadigan from Fox Sports Southwest is sitting in with The Hardline today.

Auditioning?

This could be the sports guy that Rhynes needs, but not sure about his sense of humor. And would Rhadigan even take this job? Doubt it.

Probably just a one off guest visit.

Very odd that he is on but isn't he pretty happy working at Fox? And he has always been a tv guy. Well he does have to work with Rick Renner.

Rhadigan did a few shows on ESPN Radio and did some radio back in Michigan as well.

I wouldn't have a huge problem with him joining the show. He has a bit of catching up to do with chemistry issues, but he sounds like he could fit in.

I thought Rhadigan was great today. He let the show come to him and he absorbed the HL's warped line of humor like he has done the show with them for a while. Best chemistry with a guest host that I can remember (aside from Wilonsky).

I liked Rhadigan. Gotta admit it. And he obviously listens to the station, because he knows some of the schtick.

And you can tell that the sports guests would take him seriously. During the Ranch Report, Mickey Spagnola was talking to Rhadigan like old buds who cover the sports beat.

Hmmmmm.

I don't want to be in a jackpot here,

Wasn't Jerry Jones son the dude who screwed over the hot chick from Northern Exposure? With a kid? An ran? Norm needs to ask that.

The where's Greggo, question applies to KVET afternoons as well. I think, hope.

Mickey Spagnola can be a beating, but I love it when his blind Cowboys homerism gets him into heated agruments with Junior and BaD Radio.

Kevin Scott flows well with The Hardline.

I'd be fine with him as a permanent replacement for the Husky Hugger.

In honor of the Ticket's 14th birthday, the Musers this morning counted down the 14 greatest moments in Ticket history. And in doing so, we got to hear Greggo. They had the Dave Robinson/Johnny Showtime brawl during the Hardline, Gordo getting arrested on the air during the Hardline for trespassing on Lambaeu Field (#2), and Greggo interviewing Chief David Kunkle (#1).

Not sure if the demand in the cease and desist order has expired or they just said **** it, but we got to hear "What, um, do you like this gig? . . . That wadn't the question. . . Um, do you like your job?"

Man, what a bizarre story.

The guy had the cushiest job EVER. He got paid a lot (enough to have a vacation home in Colorado) to talk about sports and boobs for 4 hours a day (along with making the occasional appearance), and he pissed it all away for some blow.

Hope he likes his new gig.

you have to really like drugs to lose your job.

i now remember all those times they would be talking to him and he wouldn't respond and they just made fun of him for dozing off. the dude was probably juiced on air all the time.

Dan McDowell did a parody of "Age of Aquarius" at Ticketstock last night. The chorus at the very end was "Where is Greggo."

And then the Hardline band (Rhynes on drums, Danny on bass, Grubes on lead, and Corby on rhythm and vocals) did "Keep on Rockin' With The Hardline," a parody of Neil Young's Rockin' in the Free World. Couple of shots at Greggo in there. They sounded solid.

I know I'm late on this but I just thought about it. Did anybody see the ratings, about 2-3 weeks ago. The ticket p.m. drivetime was down big time. I can't remember specifics, but it seemed like ESPN came pretty close.

So when Greg's non-compete ends in June, me might be able to put the ticket in second place if he could somehow fit in with Galloway. I don't know if there's enough airtime for both of them though.
