where is greggo?

I saw that as well. He really looked bad. I was expecting the old jovial Greggo but didn't see that in him. It was pretty sad, I thought.

Has anyone noticed that they've picked up playing certain Greggo drops that last couple of weeks or so? Heard some old Greggo audio on the Hardline today.

Not a lot of drops, but, I thought that part of his termination deal was that they couldn't play any Greggo audio.

Must have been a time limit on not playing drops or some other triggering event (like getting a new gig)that occurred that allows them to do it now. Yesterday coming back from a break Mike says "I would be Mike Rhyner" and they play greggo saying "and I would be greg williams..."

yeah, they are slowly adding in some drops. i think the greggo drop is going to be hardline greatness. if they could chunk out some "PUFF DADDY" drops that would make me smile.

thanks for posting the new article. put me in the camp that thinks the hardline is better now w/out greggo - wouldnt mind if Followill or Kevin Scott joined the show (wont happen), but dont really care if they ever bring in a permanent plus one. Danny's increased presence has only made the show better. cant wait to read what richie has to say.

they announced on the hardline this afternoon that greggo's dad died, and expressed their condolences.

It's easy to see (hear) that there are a lot of hard feelings even still, but they were very classy and cool with their expressions of sympathy.

The Throwdown is filling in for Norm who is filling in for D & M this week. So yes, K Scott is on the Ticket...for this week.

It absolutely does solidify what I've always thought of Corby--that he's a self-centered prick.

Really, nobody comes out of this episode (or the article's telling of it) looking very good. Greggo's a cokehead, with all that implies. Rhyner's a fairly unsupportive "friend" who clearly is far more concerned about his own career than he is about his coworkers or friends. Corby is an *******.

At least Gordo, Norm, and Bob called to check in.

as some of the comments at the end of the story say......

he very possibly could have ruined the best thing that every happened to any of those guys (corby, danny, rhyner) with his actions. not to mention how they feed their family. anyone think corby is making 150K a year at another station?

how in the hell do you expect them to act? he did this **** over and over again. i'm glad he is doing better, but he ****** up big time, lied to them about it..... and not just any old lie. "i had a stroke"? jesus. i don't blame them for acting the way they did.

he wasn't threatening the career of norm, dan, and gordon. if he was, they might have a different take on this whole thing.

I think it's safe to say that most of us have worked with someone like Greg. Maybe not to the extent of abuse that he was creating for himself, but with lies and excuses and the "hurting the team" mentality.

I guess the difference is that I can separate my work from my "life" and go to my wife and kid and still be myself. Since the Ticket is such a public forum, these guys took it as a family matter... especially Mike it seems.
