I keep hearing about the end of fossil fuels, even in the corporate world. I can't imagine anything worse for the state of human living conditions. Glad Chuck is paying attention. We need more like him.
 
Stat, it will if market forces are allowed to operate. Natural gas price is lower than before due to the increased output due to improved extraction techniques.

However, over the next 5 years there is going to be a larger and larger push to transition quickly to unreliable energy sources. One political party is 100% behind it and large corporations are starting to get in line with proposals. It is a scary proposition to me.
 
Triggered is the DNC refusing to have debates on Fox. But that is the stupidity of democrats. If there was any candidate they could rob votes from the middle, it is Trump. They will once again be crying on election night.

I'm not a kneejerk Trump defender by any means, but seriously, why the hell would they even consider going to this? I'm not seeing much upside for them. It makes about as much sense as Al Sharpton showing up at a Klan rally, and they'd be about that welcome.

When practically every media outlet has been calling for your impeachment as a Russian asset, and then they're hurt that you won't come to a party honoring them. That's where we are.

The entire White House Correspondence Association has been dominated by liberals for decades. However, back when the event was largely good-natured and had a little class, it made sense for a Republican to go. It helped build camaraderie and rapport. However, by the late 2000s, it was dominated by shrill, partisan hacks. The Colbert incident from 2006 basically said it all. That should have been the end of Republican attendance at the dinner.
 
This cartoon went through more than one level of approval inside the NYT before it was published. They do not say who or how are they being held accountable

The Right has to build new media platforms and delivery systems ASAP. The age of everyone getting information from major newspapers and broadcast TV is over. We are now in tribal phase for better or worse. Conservatives can talk about how bad it is for the country but it is survival time for us. If you don't build your message simply won't get out en masse. The fight will be over and lost.

And we need a conservative version of Hollywood as well. Hollywood has been for a long time a propaganda machine and a venue to pushing agendas. The only thing that has happened in the last 3 decades is that they have gotten a lot more polished and capable and as a consequence they are more brazen.

Our trending dynamic is that comedians (Colbert, Bee, SNL, etc) are regularly cited on news stations as though they are presenting some "truth". TV shows are more frequently wading into current political debates. Movies are made as "documentaries" that are political propaganda. Conservatives have ceded too much of the media landscape to Hollywood. I don't even watch enough to know the extent of the bias in Netflix, etc...but my guess is that is even worse in those realms.

We can do this all day. Evil is evil and should be roundly condemned and supreme efforts made to stop it. Radical Muslims are evil people not acting in accordance with God's will, nor are those white supremacist terrorists.

Also, I didn't read that sick bastard's manifesto, nor will I. I refrain from reading documents penned by evil people trying to sow evil in the world.
