Texas Longhorns vs Aggy Game Thread

Beautiful outcome. As is only right and just, the two most important aggy games ever, the kiss-off to the Big 12 and the opportunity to show who is SEC ready ended in Longhorn victory both times. It only confirms the rivalry is in their heads, not ours. The one-sided lifetime victory versus losses against a rabid dog of an opponent should forever put the in their place as merely the next game on the schedule. They can yell practice their cult rituals all they want but it means nothing to the rest of the world.

As for the game, I'd say our defense is numero uno though Georgia is also physically dominant. Our running game is elite. I sensed no passing game at all tonight and am concerned with stopping the pass rush next week. Our special teams gave up a blocked punt and missed a field goal my heart could have used. Sark went to the well one time to many with the called runs for Arch.

But we won in that insane zoo.

All in all, 11-1, an SEC Championship berth and victories over blowu and aggy make for a fine feeling of satisfaction.

Give this one to the D and the offense line. Great game. Love the way Sark has changed the culture on this team. To think,a few years ago they wouldnt even stand for the eyes. Wow, what a change he has made. QEs game was better than I thought it would be. I just dont understand why we keep having the meltdown in the third quarter. Is QE trying to do too much or is it the play calling? Hey I will take the win.Hook em

Texags is, as usual, wonderful reading. Here's one snippet that I particularly enjoyed: "If you are an Aggie fan, disappointment is a lifetime commitment."

And we beat our third Rival, Arkansas. None of the 3 games at home. Special season.

Wish we could have blown them out on the scoreboard. Whomever posted that stupid sign about Jake needs mental help. Also heard some morons were riding a longhorn onto campus. Hats off to Sark for getting the knuckleheads off the logo. As Darrel Royal said, when you get there, act like you belong and Texas belongs!!

Nipped it in the bud. The second he saw guys starting to gather on the logo he acted.
Noticed this too. I know none of these young men on the team have actually “been there” literally, but as a team act as if you’ve been in the W column at Kyle field before which is always a great achievement and no need for classlessness.

By,

You are forgetting the last game of the SWC, which Texas won at aggy land in 1995 as the 3rd most important game.

Regarding the passing game, Bond doesn’t seem full speed yet. Also it appeared Aggy was covering the deep ball, which led to open areas in middle of the field for both passing and running.
