I think that the goal line stand will be a stepping stone for the team to elevate them to another level. It will take them to a higher level mentally. It is tangible proof that they can do anything. The D now believes that they aren't just very good, they are unbeatable. The rest of the team gets confidence that if the D can play at that level, then they can too. The O hasn't come close to playing at the high level they are capable of for 4 quarters. If they do, then as the late, great Keith Jackson would say, "Katy bar the door!"

The mental aspect of a game is the most important part of it. Physical mistakes can make things hard, but mental mistakes will be devastating. On the other hand a positive and confident mental attitude is the foundation for juggernauts
