Random Season News

That is not a chart for "who doesn't belong"; that's a total joke. It would be a really good idea if this was the first and only year for this ridiculousness. But seeing as it's the NCAA, any changes would only make it worse, however that is possible.

Shut down the NCAA NOW! New supervisory body run by a committee made up of members with the 5-10 highest budgets. Let's think about:

1 from SEC
1 from BigTen
1 from remaining conferences (only one total, not one from each conference)
3-4 made up of largest budgets

Hey, TV people - outside or we WILL bid you a F.O.N.D. farewell.

nope.
Texas most dominant team was the 1914 team. 1914 to 2024 is 110 yrs. Bianco' statement of 132 yrs goes back to the beginning of UT football.
Not to minimize what's happening this year but the first 5 games of 1914 exceeded what is happening this year. No team scored more than 7 points on the Horns in 1914, which included 5 shutouts

He's so good at what he does that Kirk Herbstreit publicly criticized Patterson for firing him and said he was the best in the business.

May be the only thing Herbstreit ever said that I agreed with.

6721,

It was during the broadcast of a game. A friend told me about it, so I watched the recording, and he bashed Patterson before he was fired - live on national TV.
