Every decision Biden makes is political.
Or (more likely) is given a script by his handlers.
You can see what the media's political defense of Biden is going to be. They are going to pitch a BS narrative that the GOP is "pouncing" on Hunter Biden's "unfortunate mistakes" and "difficulties" to make Joe look bad. Of course, that is a ******** narrative.
If Hunter snorted coke out of a hooker's buttcrack, that is Hunter's bad deed. If he illegally made money off of Joe's name and title and committed tax fraud regarding that money, that is his bad deed. However, if Joe knew about it, helped him do it, or personally got some of this money, that is Joe's bad deed, not Hunter's. If the DoJ avoided fully investigating the matter or gave a sweetheart plea deal to Hunter because of who his dad is, that also is Joe's bad deed, not Hunter's.
What's clear is that the media is going to defend Joe by not making or ignoring these distinctions. Hunter will be the diversion to avoid the real issue. It'll be a little like when they made the Clinton impeachment about "private marital infidelity" rather than the fact that Clinton committed a crime to cover it up.

When I'm tired of talking on work calls, I put my dog on speaker phone. He talks about the weather (i.e. barks), and I get to say, "Sorry, have to go on mute until he calms down." Same thing here.
