Horns vs. KU

Probably overusing the term must-win, but in my mind a must-win game today....

Agreed, i'm concerned with using Stehle here with his recent history but coaches must have seen something or worked out whatever issues he had.

Strikes out the next batter, 1 on, 1 out.

And there is that inconsistent call by the ump on the outside corner, he calls it a ball this time. went to a full count and then Stehle comes right down the middle low with a fastball and guy just watches it and walks to the dugout immediately. 2 outs, 2 on

left handed batter hits the ball right down the 3rd base line to score a run the next guy flies out to RF. End of 2, KU up with a score of 2-1.

Daly actually put the ball in play but he just nubs it off the handle of his bat and easy play by the pitcher, 1 out.

Thomas is the player of the weekend, he just keeps making plays, gets his 2nd single of the game already. Powel hits through left side and Thomas makes it to 3rd, runners on the corners with 1 out.

Your Wrong, there it was, high heat swing and miss, SIT DOWN!!!! (lead off batter got a hit, is on 1st base)

Next guy flies out to RF. dang it, next batter hits a sharp ground ball to the RF wall down the line, 3rd base coach sends the runner, ball gets to the plate ahead of the runner but Galvan can't hang on to the ball. KU up 3-2. runner on 3rd, 2 outs, woody visiting the mound.

and there is that inconsistent call on the outside corner, this time it goes our way, end of the inning. strike out looking.

Update: on the throw from Galvan's hit, the ball went into the dugout and it put him on 2nd, O'Dowd hits a single to Right CF to score Galvan. tie game.

Daly strikes out looking and that ball was off the plate again, outside, but 2nd out none the less.
