Horns vs. KU

KUs best swings for the most part are with 2 strikes trying to hit that outside corner. They stay disciplined and hit those well.

and a weird play, Powel hits a hard hit ball back to the pitcher, bounces off the foot and shoots straight to foul territory toward 1st base side. 2 on, no outs. This is why I was saying if Carlson or the 9 hole batter extends the inning, we could end up with a big inning.

and campbell sac bunts those two over, runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out with the best contact hitter up to the plate.

would you have allowed Campbell to hit away? or you referring to the bunt hanging in the air too long?

It’s not a bad call to bunt - referring to the call and not how it played out.

I prefer a big inning and giving away the lessens that. And GG and Brown have had chances.

But GG does it.

Porter Brown lays down another sac bunt to move the runner to 2nd and to score another run.

and EK hits a 2 run HR!!! 7-3 lead!!!:yippee::bounce1::bounce2:

I was thinking the same thing you were and then I was like, well, maybe they are just going to pitch 4 balls to him (to GG). Oh well. the lefty, lefty match up didn't work out for them against EK.

all that kind of happened quickly I missed what happened to Galvan. Inning is over and Stehle is back out on the mound.

Well snap, just as I hit send on that last post, he hits the batter after already being up on the hitter 0-2.

2 on, 2nd and 3rd. Stehle with 103 pitches, Pierce out to the mound and looks like Shaw is coming in to stop the bleeding, hopefully we get the same ol Shaw. Where Shaw pitches doesn't bode well with this ump though.

Shaw gets a ground ball for the out but one does score. 7-4 UT with 2 outs, 2 on, 1st and 2nd base.

and now Flores to bat, i didn't catch that, announcer said he went to SS in the last inning. He hit a hard hit ball up the middle and they turned 2. empty bases, Thomas up to bat again.

Thomas flies out.

Speaking of Daly, he's hitting so poorly and Flores probably plays defense just as well that Daly is flirting with being replaced in the field more often.
