Horns vs. KU

Stehle hasn't looked bad as of yet for those that are wondering, Kansas has been a little tenacious at the plate in my opinion all weekend.

Best inning yet for Stehle, he looked good. Need this version of Stehle to go the distance today to stay out of the bull pen as much as possible.

He’s a high hopper and a couple of 2 strike pitches from being scoreless.

That said Kansas seems to have some good players. Generally patient and have hit some good pitches. They’re tough outs.

GG takes the fist pitch he sees deep in the hole at SS, no real play. 1 on, 2 outs for Porter Brown.

So I stepped out for a minute to walk around and I come back to a runner on 2nd and watched the second out on high heat with the last batter hitting a ground ball to Thomas on 1st to end the inning.

That’s the 3rd K on a high strike. And not sure any would have been called.

Was that a called strike or swinging?

I don’t think it was either but sure as heck wasn’t over the plate.

I missed it, i went out side for a minute... we are expecting showers for the next 10 days so when I see sun i want to get outside. lol.

I didn't think he's been bad, most umpires can't seem to make the right call on the outside corner opposite where they are sitting up. if the umpire sits up on the batter side of the catchers head, its like they have to guess on the outside cause they cant truly see that pitch.

Kennedy leads off with a fly out, Galvan gets his second hit of the game with a nice hit to LF.

I was going to say, Carlson should PH for Daly soon if runners are on and here we are. wish Galvan was on 2nd....2 outs, need that go ahead run.

Well dang, Carlson watches a beautiful off speed start up pretty high out of the zone and finish smack dab in the middle of the plate for called third strike looking.

Didn't mean to get anyone's hope up there but with Daly it will rarely ever happen, if we get someone that can extend the inning into the top of the order, its possible to have a big inning. Didn't happen so moot point.

Stehle still pitching, bottom of the 6th.

Stehle stayed ahead of the lead off batter, puts the ball in play with line drive to the gap in right field but Campbell was able to track it down. good play

Stehle has done his job today, with three innings left, we still have Tole, Shaw, Burke and Lummus
