I was just about to say the same thing, i don't think he has a lot to fix, needs to get back to the basics, being a little lazy and i don't think he's a lazy player but just enough to show up as minor mistakes.
 
lead off batter hits a ground ball to Thomas and much like when it gets hit to the other corner, its usually an automatic out and it is this time too.
 
ground ball to Flores who is playing short and Flores looks really good on a routine ground ball, two really quick outs, only 6 pitches thrown so far.
 
another ground ball to Flores, 8-9 pitches total. THAT was a great inning, the kind i'm spoiled by from decades of great pitching at the University of Texas.
 
I'm not gonna lie, I would prefer to see Flores at SS, he could possible add more to the offense, I've dogged him all season but Daly hasn't proven to be any better.

Wow, GG makes an outstanding bunt to move the runners over. that was a master class on how to bunt. runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. Porter Brown at bat.
 
Announcers talking about the pitching staff in a positive manner and deservedly so, it started out shaky Friday with Gordon losing and Shaw not doing any better but so far since then have been looking pretty good. LBJ and Stehle.

Alot of kudos to go around for this team this weekend. Morehouse still on the mound to finish it.
 
Morehouse looked really good, two great pitches to get the lead off batter down 0-2 but Jans hits the ball hard right back to Morehouse and it bounces off his foot. 1 on, no outs.
 
Geez, what a sequence, ball hit hard again back to Morehouse and off his leg again to bounce into RF for another safe runner. 2 on, no outs. Nothing Morehouse has done, hes looked good but Morehouse is limping. Looks like its Duplantier coming in.
 
I swear, another fluke issue 3 in a row. Powel isn't able to hang on to keep the ball in his glove, ground ball to him and all runners move up. Asian assassin at the plate with bases loaded, no outs
 
Duplantier is pitching like this guy could end the game, 3-1 count and he puts it in play to Powell, powell steps on 3rd, run does score, 2 outs, runners on 1st and 2nd.

Giving me a heart attack there in the ninth but what a huge K to get the win. Road series wins are never something to just take for granted. Now it’s a seven game home stand to end regular season and hopefully position Texas for a post season run.:hookem:
