I have no alternative but to suspect it's piss poor, fundamentally unsound scheme.

Pass rush was nonexistent today. When Patterson was helping PK he was much better. The rest of our schedule will take notice of this game and the OU game.

Important to not lose sight of how huge a drive Malik Murphy, Jonathan Brooks, and Ced Baxter came up with to get the game-winning touchdown. Murphy may start next week and that was a huge drive for him and for this team if he is starting for a game or two.

(Actually I have no memory of the place. We moved to Rossmoor shortly after I was born and then to Texas when I was 5. And so I claim Canyon TX as my hometown. Much to the annoyance of people who were born there.)

Let's wait until Watts and Catalon come back before we criticize PK. There's not a lot of teams that can lose 2 starting DBS and not get smoked.

I totally agree. Our weak area is the area we lost our two best. Not many teams can deal with that very well

Slovis has either improved tremendously or this is with no pressure because I called him an interception machine last game I watched of his.

Thankfully Sark was forced to give the ball to Brooks and then Baxter on that last drive with more downhill runs. If Ewers was banged up, that should have been the play calling for most of the game. Go pistol and run off tackle with no hesitation. When Brooks gets going downhill he is usually good for 5-6 yards or more. The only time he seems to get stopped is with delays.

Just rolled in from the game. Texas made some changes on play calling in short yardage in the red zone, but that part of the game has to get better. And cover in the secondary is way too soft. The interception in the end zone was a bad throw and had nothing to do with coverage. In fact a good throw probably scores. I saw others dropping coverage with nobody to pick up the receiver. One in the flat went for 50+/- yards. Soft cover and db’s making bad decisions will continue to hurt this team. I know there are injuries but sometimes that can be just an excuse. DBU they ain’t.
But then again, my eyes are very old. Perhaps I just saw it all wrong.
