DID WE TALK ABOUT THE LONG BALL?
WAS THAT MONEY?
I'm only half kidding. Game-time turf temp for the Rice game was 165* F.Working out in 172* weather will do that for you.
It was a live ball. The officials corrected the original call.Would someone explain the ruling when Ewers apparently missed the snap and Brooks gathered it in and made 2 yards only for the refs to make a call that seemed off....isnt that a live ball... the announcers were certain the ball belonged to Horns.
Otherwise you can’t advance a fumble on 4th down.It was a live ball. The officials corrected the original call.
That helped but last week at least 2 balls were short.I noticed what may have been an adjustment by Ewers on the long passes. The height. Much higher trajectory, allowing receivers to see the ball better and run under it.
Profile pic candidateI want a chain like that
Unless you are Caleb Williams against KansasOtherwise you can’t advance a fumble on 4th down.
After watching the highlights a couple times I realized a few things, one is that we did good by getting Anthony Hill in here. He is a beast, and only a freshman.
I believe he has been adequately critiqued by many posters on this board yet very few, if any, have given him credit for his part in the Bama victory. That helped but last week at least 2 balls were short.
I believe the rule is whoever possessed the ball is the only one who can advance it if it is fumbled. Since no one had possession it was a live ball since it was behind the line of scrimmage.Otherwise you can’t advance a fumble on 4th down.
I actually heard the ref call it a backwards pass.I believe the rule is whoever possessed the ball is the only one who can advance it if it is fumbled. Since no one had possession it was a live ball since it was behind the line of scrimmage.
