Well, when you put it that way...
What can you say. I've been a detractor and was during the game. He's a hard one to figure sometimes. But the clutch performance in OT was the second coming of Joe Montana.

Yuck.
He was - no doubt. And he lived up to his cocksure pre-game mouthiness, but he paid a price along the way. He keeps running like that he’s gonna be a CTE patient before long.
It ain’t bragging if you can back it up. Props to him…he did. Now go home….we gotta business trip to Dallas to get ready for.
We just need to go talk to Sherrone Moore and ask, “what did you do that worked?” Michigan owned them from the start and made them look like a struggling team. That’s still there…TOSU looks more like a fistfight, and they look tough, but at least we have been in a lot of very physical games this year; not sure whether they have; didn’t watch their season
Whatever. We are Texas. I would guess that a large majority of Texas fans do not root for any team just because they are in the same conference. We only pull for teams if that teams victory helps Texas or if the team they are playing is hated worse. Ex. Georgia v. ND. Two universal constants: Always pull against ou, nothing good comes from the land thieves winning (it is extremely distasteful, and one feels dirty if an ou win helps Texas but it is pretty rare). Always pull against aggy mainly for the selfish reason that their meltdowns are so much fun to watch. When ou plays aggy, I tend to come down on the side of watching aggy meltdown. As Longhornlawyer said in the classic post, I am an addict to aggy misery.Whatever happened to “SEC! SEC! SEC!”? Guess they were sorely disappointed with the final outcome of the game.

^^^ this I fully support.I like how Ohio State and Day kept the pedal to the metal when they got the lead. Sark hasn’t done that this year. When we get ahead he regresses into conservative play calling. Why did we not see intermediate passes like we had in OT during the 3rd quarter and early fourth qtr. It seems like it’s swing passes and vanilla calls with an occasional bomb (not Ewers strength) mixed in.
I want to see us get out to a lead and then turn it up.
Big task ahead if Ohio State plays like they have the last 2 games.
I agree Hoff. When we ran into the kicker, I was holleringIt's GREAT to be a Final 4 team again because we ALL know where this program was 5/10 years ago ( see basketball).
I ALSO LOVE everything about Sark .... but the elephant in the room is "why" Texas and Specifically Sark can't "put teams away" , " put foot on throat"... it's sooooooo weird!
That game should have ended late in first half!!!
And for the last 20
Years, what is our obsession with blocking punts? It's cost us wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more in penalties and game momentum than perhaps (2) positive outcomes in.....Fing years!!!!!
Colin Cowturd is a liability.Well, when you put it that way...

Very good point, Vol. We don't always realize all that goes into a successful play sometimes. At least I don't. I don't have enough knowledge to understand all the inner workings of a play.Just watched the SEC Football Final replay from last night. Sark said they practiced that exact play against the exact defense last week. He said for Quinn to be so calm to recognize the defense and recall and audible to that play in that high pressure of a situation is amazing.
I give Quinn a lot of **** for mistakes he makes, but to be able to do that is very unique and elite.
Not bad…I think I’ll watch today.
What do you get when you mix the Irish with Georgia....?

Only way to beat ‘em is to join ‘em and beat ‘em from within. This is the best thing I've seen so far. In year ONE Texas is already destroying the SEC SEC SEC mentality. They think they're so elite and for Texas to come in, play in the title game and could be the ONLY SEC team left standing after tonight in the playoffs is hilarious. I hate the SEC and wish we would have never moved there, but now that we're there I want to make those inbred retards as miserable as we can.
That was hard to watch. On the replay, he looked almost scared to get hit by the ball if he blocked it. Special teams. That play, the fake and a missed FG. Momentum changers and drive extenders that should have never happened.I agree Hoff. When we ran into the kicker, I was hollering
out "why, why, why?" Why did we even try to block that punt?
I was yelling before that punt, SARK just get the ball back! Nope.I agree Hoff. When we ran into the kicker, I was hollering

Whatever Quinn's faults he stayed cool and made some good decisions and tough throws, none bigger than this one
He was there and that punter got incredibly lucky to squeeze the ball out to the side of our guy without it being blocked or at least deflected. The call was great.I agree Hoff. When we ran into the kicker, I was hollering
out "why, why, why?" Why did we even try to block that punt?
I was going to ask the same thing. No wonder we come out flat after halftime. Damn players posting on the social media in the locker room. Think Saban teams would have been doing that??Third quarter meltdowns.
I have no idea what goes on during halftime but it would seem viewing films would be more productive than checking/posting on social media ??? Is this common and allowed by the coaching staff?

CongratulationsBesides Texas, I have lived at least 2 years in Hawaii. California, Montana, New Mexico, Colorado, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Florida
This development is truly absurd. This harkens back to the days in the Charlie Strong era when players were on social media during the games. Why is this even allowed? All the talk about culture and team leadership and then this!Yeah. Simmons is a very good player but I find this pathetic. I'm an old "boomer" but most coaches back in the '70s..... well, they basically didn't tolerate much trash talking. Didn't Simmons have other things to do, like pay attention to defensive adjustments and any advice from coaches?
Easy fix. Sark gets a new wrist band that says:This development is truly absurd. This harkens back to the days in the Charlie Strong era when players were on social media during the games. Why is this even allowed? All the talk about culture and team leadership and then this!
