2020 Presidential Election: let the jockeying commence

“Running Biden for president is like making your dog wear a dress. It makes for a good Instagram post but it’s wrong. You can see the confusion in the dogs eyes. You can see the confusion in Biden’s eyes if you look closely”

With a strong close too

Are you suggesting that she will be Biden's running mate and that they will win but that be impeached and removed (perhaps for mortgaging the White House to hustle bail money for Hunter), assassinated, die of natural causes or otherwise leave office prematurely?
This.

Elizabeth Warren blamed for Bernie Sanders disappointment after ‘splitting vote’

The link above is another example of why Liberals will never go away; why they will never get America.

Look at these sanctimonious, delusional, over the top, self-important quotes:

"...journalist Wajahat Ali said that “Elizabeth Warren killed Mike Bloomberg so democracy could live. Give the woman her respect.”

[Democracy? This is a complete joke. The Democrats don't care for democracy at all. It's obvious. And she assumed SHE was the people's choice, so in a massive conflict of interest, she takes it upon herself to destroy another candidate who had other people who supported him.]

"In a now-deleted tweet, Sanders backer and former candidate Marianne Williamson wrote that Mr Biden’s “resurrection” was “not a resurrection; it was a coup … what happened yesterday was a coup. And we will push it back.”

[A COUP? These people are seriously mental. The coup was against Trump. What coup ousted Warren? She wasn't in the office she seeks. THANK GOD she lost in a democratic vote which ironically they pretend to support.]

"Writer and journalist Naomi Klein added her call to unite behind Mr Sanders, saying: "If you have a cultural platform and you haven't used it yet to help Bernie, now is the time to use it shift the balance of power back to decency.

"Lord knows our opponents use every platforms they have. Don't wait for an invitation."

[Once again, Liberals pretend they don't use vile, vicious, sanctimonious, hold the baby in front of the camera and calling Trump, Hitler etc., while acting as if they are fighting a fair fight full of ideas that reasonable people can debate. They use the most emotionally charged hate-filled rhetoric imaginable. It's unbelievably cynical for them to pretend otherwise.]

Headline for November 6, 2024 — “Klobuchar Re-elected”

You heard it here first.
Kamala Harris will be the VP pick and run for re-election after Joe is sent to pasture shortly after his 2020 election.

I’ve always thought if “re-elected as getting elected to a post you already hold. But I get your point.

I think you can reasonably say "reelected," because she will have been elected nationally on a presidential ticket even if it was for VP. I don't think an appointed VP who later becomes president (Gerald Ford) can say he is running for reelection.

There are many plausible choices for Biden, but Kamala Harris is not one of them. Too many people hate her, and the constituencies she appeals to are already in Biden's camp.

He needs a female black candidate that is in the Clinton-Obama camp.

If Amy was a good idea for the Dems, she would have won the nomination. Kamala has other attributes for the identity party.

Using your logic, if Kamala Harris was a good idea for the Dems, she would have won the nomination. And if Julian Castro was a good idea for the Dems, he would have won the nomination. And if Pete Buttigieg was a good idea for the Dems, he would have won the nomination. And so on.

Kamala has other attributes for the identity party.

What exactly does Harris bring to the table? Biden already has a stranglehold on the black vote. Regardless, most of the swing states (Michigan being the biggest exception) have small black populations. And Biden won't need any help in California.

The question in my mind is whether Biden will chose to go the woman route, the Hispanic route, or the young-and-gay route. There's a case to be made for any of these choices.

Texas turnout

Democrats -- the 4 top candidates combined—1,663,590

Republicans -- for Donald Trump —1,879,758.

And thus an uncontested race still inspired a larger turnout than the Democrats’ second biggest Super Tuesday prize

Amy would make the most competent executive. But she lacks the looks and media charisma, and most people just don't like her that much.

If Biden wants to appease the younger identity politics crowd, and keep it reasonably photogenic, here are some options:

lisa-blunt-rochester.jpg

Lisa Blunt Rochester - Congress - Delaware (might forfeit Delaware electors since Biden is also from Delaware)

Robin Kelly - Congress - Illinois

For a "harder edge" to the ticket, and an anti-Trump extremist card-carrying member of "The Squad", he could try:

Ayanna Pressley - Congress - Massachusetts
Here is Congresswoman Pressley right next to AOC:

And here's Congresswoman Pressley with an angry vibe (could help to balance out the overwhelming whiteness of Biden):

Why not Mayor Peter? He is much more likeable and loves to make the type of pointless claims dressed in flowery prose which always seem to appeal to Democrats. I think he may have been their best shot.

Your point remains valid, but becomes overstated as ballots continue to be counted. As of a few minutes ago, the top 4 Democrats have 1,931,483 votes and President Trump has 1,907,461.

Plus, it is much more relevant to look at states that are more in play. For example, in North Carolina, the top 4 Democrats are sitting at just under 1.2 million, while Trump is at 734k.

It's absolutely stunning to me that the solution is to forgive the debt without one word about the cartel/monopoly that is causing the dramatic increase in tuition costs (not to mention room and board). When it comes to salaries and the arrogance of the professors there is silence. You can pretend there is a choice but it's only as to which college you prefer to rip you off. An Accounting degree still requires a college degree. You have to go through the door and pay the toll.

About education costs. One way to drastically reduce is to put lectures on line for classes to view. Maybe they get updated or added to over time, but teachers/professors won't be needed to lecture everyday. Then you reduce the amount of teachers. The remaining teachers/professors are there for Q&A sessions, homework help, or tutoring.

Also, use old books. Take sections needed for reading assignments and put them online too. You can print them out if needed.

It's one way to reduce education costs. Running with the minimum level administration and eliminating nonessential functions would also help.

Even better, but something you would hate even more would be to eliminate all Government funding for schools and don't restrict number of schools. Let a real education market form. The price signal will minimize the cost over time. School options will increase. School budgets will optimize around real value delivered. Some of the things I initially mentioned would probably happen too.

Or if MORE teachers is what you want, double the headcount of schools and pay them all $150k/yr. That will get people applying.

Of course then education is even more unaffordable. Tuition will go up as well as property taxes and income taxes.

She ticks the boxes plus have Obama-Clinton support. Why would Obama pick someone who they couldn’t control after Old Joe is removed in 2021?

He won't pick Bernie, but he could pick someone who has a similar populist feel like the Pretend-ian.
So when Joe is removed from office, they want a Bernie bro for president? Come on man don’t be this stupid.

LOL. Petey got 2% of the black vote in SC.
