where is greggo?

Damn. Now it sounds like Greggo won't be coming back at all.

Rhynes said that, now that the cat is out of the bag, they are free to speak about what's going on. And they will. They will talk candidly about it, and they will talk about where the show goes from here. They'd rather look forward than look back, but at some point, they will talk about what happened. Rhynes just couldn't say when.

Doesn't sound like Greggo will be a part of the future.

Rhynes just said that they can address the situation now but will not until they have the future resolved with certainty. It doesn't sound like they know if/when Greggo is coming back.

I think this is the sure sign greggo is gone. In the article it said he would be back before the end of the month. But after hearing Rhynes today it doesn't sound like they will have a resolution before then which would mean they are probably working out the details of firing him. Can't wait to hear those segments when they discuss everything. Hopefully they will promote it and let everyone know in advance so we can make sure and tune in. I think most people want to know what their feelings on the whole thing have been.

Right before the show, there was a new spot for Culwell & Sons, the clothing store on Hillcrest. This used to be Rhynes' and Greggo's spot. The new spot was done by Rhynes and Cobra.

Hmmmmm.

Not a peep.

I think a decision was made that Greggo was not coming back, and they're trying to work out some sort of contract buyout/separation agreement. When that is finalized, then I bet they talk.

Wonder if Greggo will have a non-compete. ESPN (103.3) might try to hire him right away.

He must have seriously burned a bridge with Hollywood Mike Rhyner to not come back. Honestly, what he does isn't that difficult, the Harline isn't a show that prides itself on its reputation or professionalism. He didn't have to worry about his credibility the way Norm or Coop may have to. He was simply a perfect foil for Rhyner. He could have bounced back professionally from this.

I don't get the backlash. Greggo obviously has done something on a personal level to piss of Mike. Oh well, I wonder if they'll erase Greggo's half of the Hardline characature from the walls of The Palm?

mike just said they would be discussing all the details of what's going on, probably late next week. talked about how he had no idea the extent of the possible legal ramifications protecting "people who go through what he's going through." so it doesnt sound like he'll be back, but i guess we'll get some real information next week.

ttt, I don't miss him near as much as I thought I would. I still turn to 103.3 during the ticket's 9 minutes straight of commercials(and between the two stations, I actually get a good amount of sports talk), but the fun with real audio segments won't have near the appeal without any future "do you like this gig?" type comments.

I guess we will hear something this week?

of course of love cobby as much as the next P1, but greggo's absence has shined the light on him a little bit... and has kind of showed me they need greggo back.

I heard the Silver Fox commercial this morning and both Rhynes and Greggo were on it still.

I assume it's been running since he left but I just hadn't noticed till this morning.

Just did not include Greggo in anything on white Elephant Switch....he is done. At the end Craig basically had to "fill" in as afternoon drive yuck monkey since they are one person down

Basically means the legal wrangling ain't over yet. Mike sounds defeated about it. I think he wants to get it out there, talk about it and get it over with.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of Kevin Scott recently? Do you think they're working something out there or do you think one of the results of the (assumed) legal issues with Greggo is not allowing anyone else to join the normal crew?

Is there any chance Greggo can get his drops erased from the ENCO? With his drops in there he can live on forever and they are so golden.

Just heard a Hardline promo on BaD Radio. It said something to the effect of "catch the Hardline everyday at 3:00 with the old curmudgeon Mike Rhyner and his yuck monkey sidekick Corby." No mention of the lovable, huggable Hammer. Right after the promo Sturm said in a pretty surprised voice "wow." Must be close to a resolution on that whole deal.
