where is greggo?

What is up with them referring to themselves as "Afternoon Drive Sports Programming" instead of the Hardline...I was out of town for a few days so must have missed something.

They haven't referred to themselves as the Hardline for a couple of weeks due to Greggo's absence. Rhyner adopted the very generic "Afternoon Drive Sports Programming" instead.

They have played the "Rehab" return cut before and I believe it was when Greggo was still there and they all got a laugh out of it.

I didn't think much of the "sports programming" title. I thought maybe they were making fun of being called that by some random publication or generic business guy or that he was just doing the Gordo bit of "You're on the air with KTCK sport Ticket AM broadcasting" and whatnot. That would make sense though that if there is no more Hardline that Mike would stop calling themselves that.

Other things Mike has said over the past few weeks include during the Concert Calender a few weeks back when Skynyrd was here, was they did the normal bit of "Greeeegggoooo" suggesting he would be interested and a reply from Mike of "I would like to see him get out of what hes doing to go to that."

Also, from the other day when they were talking about Mike losing sleep over something and I think Danny asked "Where's Greggo" which got a reply from Mike something along the lines of "No, not really loosing any sleep over that." The comment and the tone of his voice sounded as though he is through with the situation.

There have been a few sightings...

Mike sounded done with the whole deal today. He ended the whole segment with "I don't know IF or when Greggo will be coming back so that is all I have to say about this"

I bet Rhynes has a pretty big say in whether the Hammer comes back and based on today he does not sound like he is going to enthusiastically welcome him back with open arms.

Richie Whitt is sitting in today. Rhynes is making comments like, "you're doing great. You're fitting in well."

Not saying Whitt will be replacing Greggo, but it seems like they might be auditioning some guys.

Don't understand the love for K Scott. The only thing he does that I like is chasing Greggo piggy. He annoys me otherwise.

K Scott was perfect on that show as the ticker guy when he had a few funny lines a day - he's way overexposed as a co-host. Kind of like starting J.J. Berea when he needs to be playing about 3 mins a game.

Supposedly Witt's article this week in the Observer is on Greggo - should be an interesting read.

dan mcdowell has been great lately. he really should be with rhyner on the afternoon sports drivetime radio sports show.

Did y'all hear Grubes' drops at the beginning of the show? Two Greggo drops back to back.

"I like dope."

"I'm the Hammer."

You could hear Grubes laughing in the background.
