I'll admit I made one complaint, the only one I've made in the 18 years here. That followed at least 4 other people on this board. Evidently restraining the personal attacks were too much to bear rather than defending your posts when they were demonstrated to be false, out of context or simply BS. Too bad.

Also, in his book, he also described some active measures against the "Main Adversary" and alleged that "the GRU and the KGB helped to fund just about every antiwar movement and organization in America and abroad." The Soviet Union allegedly spent more money on funding of U.S. anti-war movements during the Vietnam War than on funding and arming the Viet Cong forces

Both are worth a watch if you have ~15 minutes -- watch it. Remember this is going back to the 1980s. See if you think what he says is what eventually happened in the US and the EU. Quicker in the EU than here. I think it helps answer the questions -- "Where do these people come from?" and "How can they believe that?"

Imran had access to top secret data since at least 2005. In that span, he owned some twelve houses in the D.C. Area and several businesses. He has ties to officials who oversaw the visa process as well as contacts in Pakistan and other countries.

Our intelligence agencies, who monitor EVERYTHING, were unaware he posed a security threat? Were the people in charge during this time span (Muellar, Comey, McCabe, Patreus, Brennan) incompetent or were they part of a coverup protecting Hillary. Were the Awans able to conduct espionage and accumulate data for blackmail or sell information to foreign governments? Did the CIA or FBI heads allow a foreign intelligence team to do the dirty work for them so they could not put their own fingerprints on the espionage by not involving US intelligence personnel that might have not gone along with this?

You are looking at it way too narrowly. This discovery has the potential to be 24-carat gold fabulous -- I pray we get to see the product. This possibility makes the filing worthy on its own merit. I am grateful someone was willing to fund this adventure.

All that aside, the NYT have admitted they did it (see below). Thus, the only real issue to be litigated is the presence of actual malice. If I was her counsel, I would make the simple argument that malice towards Palin by NYT writers and editors might reasonably be assumed by the trier of fact.
