Win the special teams and turnover margin.

Dallas sportscaster on Channel 8 Mike Leslie had warm wishes for the Aggies' new coach, but was mystified by projections of immediate rise to stratosphere of College Football. "Based on What?" Leslie asked. Noted than since he was 8 years old the Aggies have double digit wins twice ...the same number as Kansas football. Leslie said it takes more than money to be elite.

From the Aggies' viewpoint, the problem is that they went co-ed a while back. See, that means that a large percentage of the student body cannot actually participate in the crucial ongoing ritual sacrifices of nut squeezing and spunk jar filling needed for the football gods to bestow that coveted elite status.

The lower participation rate just looks bad.

Those that don't have the equipment needed to nut squeeze could perhaps pull underarm instead. :yikes:

Culture trumps everything. It would require a snorkel to wade thru all the ******** on that campus...& the ******** is their culture. No coach will go in & change that. The most successful coach they have had in the last 100+ yrs (Jackie) embraced the ********, fed into the ******** & cheated like hell (which, despite their code is part of the culture) to win.

From what I've read [ from Luicci (???)] the Big cigars pulled the plug on Stoops 'cause Elko was cheaper (also, having been there before, he has been exposed to the culture (********).

The aggie culture is the problem and the aggies want to preserve the culture. There in lies the rub.
