Joe Fan, I condemn these people just as much as you do. The problem I have with you (and I know you won't respond, which is OK) is that you equate them with "the left" - meanwhile ignoring the horrible, hateful things said in the name of "the right". So you just keep solidifying the ideas you have about good people on the right and bad people on the left.
Your twitter posts are hilarious and I like seeing most of what you choose to share, but you would probably do well to just ignore garbage like these people.

One of the bigger problems with attempting to engage the good people of the left is that you keep calling Americans's who voted for Trump all Nazis. It leaves no good place to start

by the way, that hashtag^ #DisruptJ20 - is another item Twitter leaves up
Despite the fact that many or even most of the folks using it are openly advocating violence.

Michigan electors cite threats over Trump vote
http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/politics/2016/11/17/elector-threats/94003176/

" ..... On Dec. 19, the 22-year-old Banerian is scheduled to join 15 other Michiganians to cast their electoral votes for Republican President-elect Donald Trump. But Trump’s opponents have deluged Banerian and other GOP electors with pleas and nasty emails to reverse course and cast their ballots for Clinton, according to the Michigan Republican Party.

“You have people saying ‘you’re a hateful bigot, I hope you die,’ ” he said. “I’ve had people talk about shoving a gun in my mouth and blowing my brains out. And I’ve received dozens and dozens of those emails. Even the non-threatening-my-life emails are very aggressive......”

lol
make your art school grad barista say "Trump!" out loud

I still don't get it other than some people enjoy being an *******. Making some barista that may or may not be politically active yell out "Trump" is the political equivalent to getting some unwitting person to call out "Mike Hunt" over the intercom. It's pretty juvenile.

Pretty juvenile, as compared to the "real" protestors, who are nothing more than a holes themselves. And, by the way, I agree with you, this is silly. Maybe the point is having no point, just like the "protests".

If that is juvenile, then how do you describe making death threats, flipping over cop cars and dropping trou to poop in the middle of the street?

It's also a good way to have your coffee sent to the back room for some "special treatment."

Equally as dumb, imbecile, whatever you want to call it. Crap like this results in idiots that escalate into anecdotes like this. That idiot in Coral Gables starts calling the barista "garbage" and "trash" simply because his beverage was taking longer than he anticipated. Based on the article this particular guy seems to be unstable. If the article is accurate in his consistent emails to the Miami Herald, he may be the sterotypical alt-right member.

Seriously, if you want to protest Starbucks why give them your money.

No. The point is that you were willing to quickly call the (probably one person) Starbucks revolution "juvenile."
But you are not willing to similarly give descriptive definition to turning over cops cars, pooping in the street in protest or twitter death threats. Instead you avoid it, saying, "call it what you want."
Why?

HAHAHAHAHAH -- the Starbucks employees are refusing the customer request!
And calling the cops!
On the customer!
I would vote for a Const Amendment that liberals be forced to wear baby diapers

This argument is juvenile. There, I said it. I've already said the protesters are wrong at the beginning of this thread. The only defense of them I've offered was to show that some of the protesters aren't actually protesters but anarchists leveraging the opportunity to of the protests to create havoc which is their true intention. Nowhere on this thread have I avoided anything.

Is this your attempt to have me behind the proverbial coffee bar yelling "Trump"?

Do you really think that those SBUX employees are calling the cops simply because the dude wants "Trump" written on his cup? What could he have possibly said before that recording started that prompted them to say "we better get some law enforcement assistance"?

So you are not willing to call your side's poopin protestors anything?

Joe, unfortunately you just don't get it. Turning over cars, pooping, death threats and other vandalism is irrelevant when there are horrible people calling certain people and other select groups names which could hurt their feelings and cause permanent emotional scarring for life.

Here is a copy/paste of my initial post on this thread.

This is the more childish side of the liberal spectrum. Are some organizers being funded by well heeled donors? Maybe but I think too much credit is being given to liberal causes. Look no further than the Arab Spring and the use of social media. You and I can quickly organize our own protest if we have enough influence and are tied into the right causes. Heck, my kids show me how High School parties become out-of-control ragers with a simple post on Facebook, Instargram or SnapChat.

As I sat in my car obstructed by the protesters in Seattle last night my first thought was that I sincerely hope they voted because if not they have no leg to stand on.

In the end, move on. The election is over. Trump is POTUS-elect. If you don't like that then start laying the groundwork now to get your preferred candidate elected in 2020. That effort should start not in a metropolitan area but rather rural middle-america.
