I know BevoJoe will ignore this, but for the rest of you, the main benefit of the tax cuts is jobs, not bonuses. The increase in employment since the tax cuts is irrefutable.
The fact that Trump invited them to the WH to negotiate and they declined to attend means nothing to him. Everything in the world is Trump's fault.??
Does Hoyer listen? POTUS has said over and over he would negotiate.
It is like the Dems keep saying a barrier alone isn't the answer.
?????? Trump has proposed use of many technologies and extra agents and judges.
Dems are liars and insane.
SH.... setting the “standard” by believing a false story from a biased source, then using the false story to criticize people that he has zero knowledge about. That is some standard. Nice job.Changing ones perspective based on more information should be the standard. Unfortunately, in this politicized climate you must proclaim "I'm wrong" only as long as the other side was wrong. Should your side actually be wrong it's fakenews and retreat to sites that support a desired narrative. It's not a right vs left thing. Borh sides do it. The left is doing it now with sites like Slate. The right also exhibits this behavior. It's no wonder our politicians have no interest in compromises as hyper-partisans have an outsized voice in the debates.
WSJ regularly reports both unemployment rates. They are generally always in lock step with one another. So, in one sense it doesn’t matter which one you look at. I can’t believe that article missed the bigger issue: labor participation rate. Neither method for unemployment accounts for ups and downs in labor participation rate. Thus, people not working due to disability, laziness, school, retirement, food stamps, living at parent’s house, etc are not counted in either unemployment rate.Link:
Does the Government Lie About Unemployment?
Real unemployment rate in US. Check it out.
And don’t “ignore” anything. I also don’t accept everything that Congress, Agency or the President says as truth either.
The kids were there for the March for Life protest but instead chose to disrupt the Indigenous People's March getting in their way and reportedly shouting "Build the Wall". This is what kids are learning from their MAGA parents.
Skimmed a 1.5hr video yesterday starting with the "Black Hebrew Israelites" which confirmed they were the instigators in the fracas. From what I viewed I don't think the "Indigenous Peoples March" or the "March for Life" students were at fault for anything other than talking/shouting and acting past each other. The kids certainly don't deserve any of the initial ridicule they received.
The media jumped too fast. I loathe the "fakenews" moniker as it's self serving but the media needs to slow down and ensure they have the full story rather than leaping in any direction. The speed of news is vastly outpacing editorial staff ability to keep up.

No comment needed. The "media" jumped too fast. Not him. The media.

Just like the media he jumped too fast because he can't stand Trump or his followers.
Yes, I do. I didn't say he invited them. He invited a group of House Dems he thought he could negotiate with and, frankly, talk reasonably with. Pelosi and Schumer have said they won't negotiate until the government is open. You know damn good and well they won't negotiate if that were to happen. Those Dems didn't show. You do understand that Trump invited all the Dems but Pelosi and Shumer, right? Would you think Obama was genuinely interested in negotiation if invited all R's but Boehner and McConnell during the ACA? Think the R's would have shown up?
If someone admits that he jumped too fast or otherwise got something wrong, you shouldn't bust his balls for it.
