The Debate Trump vs Biden

They might not believe the DEI but their voters sure as hell do. If Harris doesn't consent to being passed over expect the black vote to get worse for the dems.

I think they do believe DEI. It is their religion. They hate white people. They hate Christians. They hate anything related to traditional society.

This is the belief system they were taught in high school and college. In their jobs they are saturated by it. Some use it merely as a means to power. I think that is a small minority. Think of George Soros and Larry Fink. They have placed this as the purpose of their life. I am sure they think they are saving mankind. To them why wouldn't they believe in DEI? It is the mechanism for making humanity free and equal.

She'll do the same thing this time, but instead of selling her body, she'll be selling her pride and ambition. Newsom or Whitmer or whoever will have to pay the price for it, but they'll do it. It might be the SecState gig (like Obama gave to Hillary Clinton) or some cushy ambassadorship that'll be easy to exploit for money, but they'll pay that price to get her to shutup and support the nominee.
"Say Kamala, your new assignment: Ambassador to North Korea."

If the Dem leadership figures it must be a Black person, then Booker seems to be the obvious choice. Booker actually seems to have some decent leadership skills and a "strong-enough", though not commanding, presence.

Who could replace Joe Biden? Here are six possibilities

J B Pritzker :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

The 59-year-old governor of Illinois would be one of the wealthiest of possible picks. He can flourish his credentials of having codified the right to abortion in Illinois and declaring it a “sanctuary state” for women seeking abortions. He has also been strong on gun control, and legalised recreational marijuana.

News blogs were throwing him into the mix, but no friggin way Pritzker is the nominee.

We actually don't have one. We have a special envoy, but she wouldn't want that. Too high stakes if something goes wrong and harder to clean up any screwups. Not enough potential for corrupt dealings. She'll want something like Sec of State where professionals do the real work or like ambassador to the EU. Plenty of room for corruption but not likely to start a war by stupidity.

If they keep Uncle Lewis or Willie Brown's ex-mistress on the ticket, they will.

Losing one election isn't really losing though. Republicans win elections here and there or even half the time, and still the Left wins. They dominated the 20th Century and are continuing in the 21st.

The latest SCOTUS decision was a bigger blow to them than if Trump is elected. But only time will time if it makes a difference.

Can another democrat be added to the ticket in Wisconsin with Biden still on the ballot or can only one democrat be on the ballot there?

What am I missing here? Neither Biden nor Trump are officially even the nominees. How can it be too late?

Note Biden was going to do an early zoom count of delegates to be official in order to meet an Ohio deadline. Don’t know if that happened yet.

We mainly lose because for 60 years, we've largely forfeited culture and education. They still want to win in electoral politics. If they don't, then they don't appoint the justices who will do what they can't accomplish legitimately.

Conservatives have been routed since at least 1913. The whole Progressive era was revolution against what America start as. The losses have happened because those on the right willing to fight the onslaught were marginalized by subversives who were first disguised as Bourbon Democrats and then Republicans.

Of course Democrats want to win elections. They will continue to do so on some level, just about 45% of the electorate is hard line Democrat voters. They more and more capture the culture which will increase that number. They educate the upper classes into leftism and they immigrate the lower classes into leftism.

Aside from funny comments about the whisky of choice...

Who would you consider to be the 5 (or so) most true "Conservative" presidents that we've had?

Which Presidents were the actual "Conservatives" in your view?
