Schaub to Houston/Carr gone

you don't see it like i do. if you are 100% of yourself rather than 72%, you are going to have a much greater impact. mario will prove his worth, and shaud should as well, being that the jury is still out on that one.
mark it down: 11 wins
not taking vince young has nothing to do with that.

they had to cut him. everyone was just going to hold out 'til he was released.
another great move this offseason!

That can't be right. Chrisforheisman said they would get a 3rd or maybe even second rounder for him.

As others have stated, when reading this thread it is quite evident that CfH is much more passionate about and emotionally invested in the subject than anyone else.

CfH,
You seem to adamantly defend any move that the Texans front office makes, and in your eyes I am not sure that they can do any wrong. You will have to forgive the rest of us for questioning that stance, considering that the team's season records are: 4-12, 5-11, 7-9, 2-14, and 6-10. In your opinion, what are the 3 worst front office moves that the team have made? What is the worst move that they have made since Kubiak/Smith arrived?

Does this mean the Texans won't get back one of the 2nd-round picks they gave up for Schaub? Cause I thought they were gonna get back one of those 2nd-rounders or at least the first pick in the third round from the Raiders, which is essentially a 2nd-rounder anyway.

Real smoooooooth job on unloading Carr with no value Texans. He is a rich man by most definitions by his success or failure with any team - beware Oakland.....

Hey Texans draft braintrust....... how'd that pass on NFL Rookie of the Year Vince Young and draft Mario Williams instead thing work out?

Dumbasses!

hmm let's see here. a guy is 28% injured and you (random horn) think that's insignificant. what if you were only 72% of yourself? would you be as good as when you're 100% of yourself? i doubt it. there is a chance that he wasn't even 72%. i've watched tapes from ollege and compared them with the tapes from last season and i would put mario somewhere between 64% and 66%. that means he'll be anywhere from 34% to 36% points healthier this year, and therefore, significantly more effective.
go breakdown some tape and get back to me.

I saw Gary Kubiak at a barber shop the other day. I asked him why Mario Williams didn't play so well last year, and you know what he said? He told me that wasn't the real Mario Williams playing for the Texans last year. He said that was actually Joe Louis pretending to be Mario, and get this, he was 137 years old. 137 years old!

Then he told me the real Mario Williams is back from his sabbatical (he cured cancer and worked with the Peace Corps), and he should be roughly 358.4% more productive than Joe Louis was last year. This is because Mario Williams is 22 years old, and as previously stated, Joe Louis is 137 years old. 137 years old! Gary Kubiak told me that.

you all choose to believe whatver you want, but it is well documented that mario williams was 3/4 last season. he's got a foot injury that has really inhibited his explosiveness, which is so crucial off the line of scrimaage.
and why is it that every time someone links a video or photo in this case it winds up proving my point?
if you look at that picture you can see as plain as day that mario williams is very, very close to making that play on vince. think about what would have happened if he wasn't only 70%. add only 15% points of health, and he makes that play. so thank you, ghost.
