Schaub to Houston/Carr gone

and now carr is released for NOTHING! please CFH and admiralstockdale i am waiting on your spin on this one. how good is carr again? how is this a great move for the texans. how did it benefit the texans to pass on VY to keep carr, the QB of the future, pay him an $8 million dollar extension and then release him the next year? please explain this brilliance...

okay, you guys are right - healing up makes no difference. and it matters not that 5 gm's and 2 scouts said schaub is a promising talent, and in particular "resourceful and steady".
some of you refuse to acknowledge the many positives.

No matter how good or bad Schaub turns out to be, i am still stoked.. Carr is gone and that is reason to celebrate

the texans won 6 games last year with the consensus (on hornfans) worst player in nfl history at quarterback. they also did it with a #1 overall pick that was hampered by an injury and playing at 80%. they also have the defensive rookie of the year and should address the ailing secondary. it is rather obvious to me that they are headed in the right direction. now, if mario williams heals 20% points, there will be no doubt - the texans will be a power to be reckoned with.
oh, and before i retire for the rest of the day/night, i'll leave you with this little beauty about schaub, the "career backup":

"matt schaub is as highly regarded as any backup quarterback since steve young. i like this kid." - andy reid, jan. 11, 2007

This is getting bizarre. CfH hasn't posted in two days after posting about 50 messages in the same span. Meanwhile, admiralstockdale has shown himself to be the greatest evalutor of football player performance evaluator in the history of mankind. I don't think there is anyone in the NFL that could look at 5 minutes of film and determine the health of a player to five percentage points, much less a single percentage point. I think that the Texans should look into hiring him to head their scouting department.

The only way Mario Williams would have tackled VY on that play was if he had the Sword of 1,000 Truths. He could have had full health, charisma, mana, armor, etc and VY still scores. Only the sword would have prevented the TD, but he'd still be good enough to pick up a first down and move the Titans within FG range. VY has a much higher level than Mario
