Riots in Minneapolis

Same here Orange, protection and the fear that the laws may change. The good thing is when I mentioned my intent to wife she was all in favor. Decision made.

While I hope MN turns red in the GE this year, it's more than just the twin cities. I looked at the election map from the 2018 AG election, Ellison actually carried the Lake Superior area (NE Minnesota) as well as the near Fargo , ND vicinity (far western part of state). How he carried those areas is beyond me. If Biden carries those, he wins MN

Minnesota is politically weird. It's rural areas aren't particularly conservative, because they have long environmentalist and labor traditions. Those areas aren't rabidly liberal, but they aren't easy pickups for the GOP like rural areas tend to be. Even when they can flip them for a given race, they get outvoted by the Twin Cities unless the GOP decisively wins the TC suburbs, which hasn't happened much in recent years.

I guess the media feels burning and looting is not bodily assault and, therefore, peaceful.

It is getting more difficult to be surprised by the outrageous, immoral, and idiotic behavior of these folks.
 
I'm curious if this made the national news or just the news that we can rely on? Pretty sure CNN isn't going to make something like that front page news. No need to change public opinion with the truth.
