It may seem silly to have a punter be MVP, but when you get 20-25 more yards out of a kick, and/or pin the other team deep in their own end, it's like making several great defensive plays.

Back in the late 90's, when Texas would have great kickers (as usual) but horrible punters, it was always such a grimace when Texas would put 30 yards of so. Always thought they should have "gone" for it on 4th down but just fumbled and then kicked the ball on the ground as far as the RB could.
