Stopped listening when I left Austin in 2005. He was good when he could laugh at a situation that irritated him. Maybe he did that less.

That's basically what happened. He would literally call listeners who disagreed with him stupid when he would go on his rants. I agreed with him sometimes and didn't others. I just got tired of being called stupid for disagreeing with him.

In the comments they state that seedings are based on # of Twitter followers. Probably means seedings are skewed toward the younger crowd and away from us lifelong Lubeers.

Bluebell as a #27 is a joke; they should be a 1 seed. Southwest Airlines, Shiner, and H-E-B should be the others. Buc-ees will not be an easy out, but seriously, Austin City Limits—the show itself, is more iconic than ACL festival.

I remember the Specs just south of downtown Houston, which, I think, was the original. It had low ceilings and was cramped. Instead of being the Home Depot of liquor, it was more like the Academy Surplus of liquor.
