Don't know and really don't care. All I do know is the cop in question was disciplined (again) by the department, and all of Scottie's charges were dropped. Because of what I do know, I'm not willing to assign a-hole status to Scottie over the incident.
EDIT: I think the guy in this video, whoever he may be, is freakin' hilarious.
Agreed-- I am a criminal defense attorney and can assure you they would not have dropped the case if there was a shred of evidence. The clip where the DA and 2 ADA showed up to oppose a simply scheduling request for the first appearance date will showcase this attitude.( an administrative issue that often would have been agreed by phone). Also, there was a tape of Scotty just after being arrested walking to police cruiser--his comments and body demeanor were of shock and surprise rather than someone who had an 'attitude'. it all points to overreaction by the officer.
