Q: when do people get their "T Rings", after graduation, after eligibility is gone or both? Also, I assume all varsity athletes are eligible?
Only speaking of football, T ring eligibility attaches to lettering and graduating. I know of no qualifiers of time elapse. Clearly, though, for a letterman several years past who graduates, the onus is on him to pursue his T ring. Coach Royal established the T ring tradition. I am unaware if it applies to other sports, though it should.

Thanks, Hornde.

Most of the people watching will not be those of us paying to see it but rather those sitting in air conditioned comfort at home courtesy of ESPN, or as it is better known, the GOD of football

on your knees and all praise to our Lord ESPN

without it there would be no 11:30 football games i

11am kick is bad enough, 2:30pm is far worse.

My sombrero is off to all of you that will attend this blisteringly HOT game!! :rolleyes1:
If you sit on the west side, 2:30 pm is better than 11 am since you are in the shade for most or all of the game.

The average high for Fort Collins, CO on Aug 31st is 80.

I was at the 9-4-99 Stanford game, Texas won 69-17, a similar fate awaits the Rams.

I will be watching from the comfort of my home. I have roasted my brains sufficiently at early season games. I will save the seats for some younger folks with a few brain cells left to fry.

I was at the UCLA game and went to the field before the game. Went back to my seats and told my friends there was no way those California guys would hold up under that heat, which was already over a hundred on the field

they only scored 63 points. We scored somewhat less

I hate to be picky, especially about this, but they scored 66...

You are right. We scored 3 points. They scored 63 more than us, hence “rout 66”. My brain was scrambled from the heat and humiliation and I have never really recovered

after it was finally over I walked to the alum center and gulped down a beer. Correct me if I am wrong but I think it was a Shiner. Then I asked somebody if they had fired Mackovic yet

somebody I didn’t know (was it you?) told me no, they would wait until the end of the season. Instead they put him in charge of developing a golf course

Forgot, ABC has already announced that "Game Day" will be there. Among the multitude of Aggies, whom will be the guest picker?

My money is on Lyle Lovett
