Agree totally, bystander. If I remember the title of the office correctly, he is President of the United States - and that implies to me that his primary task should be to protect the interests of the United States.
Let's think about this. Yellen (and Biden by extension) are quickly pivoting to aligning the world governments around their absolute power. This is world-class (Literally) corruption and yet the local Liberals got their feelings hurt by Trump. It's unbelievable.
They're opening the borders, wanting to pay reparations, forgiving debt and trying to raise taxes and coordinate with unaccountable and corrupt politicians and bureaucrats (UN - Paris Agreement, so named to get around the Constitutional requirement that international treaties be ratified by our Congress) from around the world.
THAT IS TRUE LIBERALISM. That is why I'll NEVER vote for any of them.

Prolly not the answer you were looking for but I am volunteering to help with sex trafficking victims/families. Sorry but based on my intel, most of these kids will be either 1) sex trafficking victims. 2) pedophile victims. Those could be one in the same. This. It's a pretty transparent ploy that will surely enrage the extreme elements of the left. That said, the Biden Admin also can't simply give a portion of the base the finger either. This delays any "decision" and depending on who will staff this panel it may simply be an attempt to build the case for/against the expansion. I'm certain the political wonks on the left will be very interested in who is on this panel, specifically the chair.
Nothing in his administration so far surprises me.
