Excellent point, RP. You're apparently right - houses in the Bay area start at $1M for the equivalent of a tar paper shack.

Shawn Thierry has become a Republican after losing her primary decisively. She was a very solid liberal and partisan. But she wouldn't vote for porn in schools or genital mutilation for kids, and that was enough to make her unwelcome in the Democratic Party.
