Woah!
Nicely put. They want to live in a fantasy land. They are free to do so but keep it to yourself.Re: Drag Queens at the Olympics
This is my take...
My feeling is this. It doesn't make me uncomfortable. It makes me just look at them with a , "You're really f'd up aren't you" look in my eyes. But at the same time expressionless. A look that indicates to them that I am unmoved but know they have no leadership qualities, nothing to offer, that they are emotional wrecks who can only survive through exhibitionism that builds nothing, saves nothing and in the end results in me knowing that what is important will survive because I respect nothing they have to offer. They have humiliated themselves and their families but because they are carrying a chip on their shoulder that will never go away, their clear mental weaknesses will never be cured. So in the end, they cannot gain the upper hand with me the same as a sociopath cannot. What they represent is anarchy and foolhardiness. And I do not wish I was "free" like them, because I know my freedom manifests itself in that I am not a clown. And lest anyone think we are prudes, uptight or sexually repressed. We are not. We are adults. And we are the people who society to depend upon to move life forward with maturity and the knowledge that those who would influence our children towards the extremes are the ones who ultimately will be the first to beg for an all-powerful central government to save them from the disaster of their personal choices.
