Depends on how you define it. His call for a large cut in the corporate tax is pretty fiscally conservative in my eyes, but if you only want to look at the spending side, then maybe not. My point is he never ran on that position and his election certainly does not signal a turn away from FC by the GOP. They already turned from it long ago.
 
One of the more interesting aspects of Democrat Groupthink is they have zero fear of ever being labeled hypocrites. They either dont realize they are doing it, think the same rules do not apply to them, or they just dont care.

I heard from a reliable source that what Reagan actually said was "Some day, some idiot will quote me as saying that shaking Trump's hand felt like shaking the hand of a president. Don't believe him." Because snoopy wasn't standing there to disprove it, it's true.

Then that clearly means it's true. Let's ignore the research that the first time this quote showed up anywhere was in 2016. Clearly we really need to credit Trump for his control in avoiding the self-adulation by including the quote in one of his 30 books he's "written".
