General Presidential Campaign: Trump vs Hillary

.....Her face got too angular, and she lost all curves of any kind. .......

LOL, now that is a well-thought-through level of specificity with which no one can argue.

And sounds like the female ideal of Chairman Mao

NYT says Hillary's Immigration plan would let in 37M more than Trump's

How many of those 37M new Americans will be potential future Republican voters? I'm betting damn near zero.

Most of those immigrants will move from the slums of the third world straight onto the American welfare rolls, costing taxpayers untold billions. You'd hope by the time the second generation rolls around they'd have melted into the melting pot, but with "multiculturalism" the new norm for the country, I don't think the melting pot is very warm anymore.

Obama and (potentially) Hillary are fundamentally changing America as promised.

I'd think the riots and the blowback from the Left on HB2 would help the Trump in N.C.

Trump needs to pick it up in Florida and Pennsylvania.

also, new Rasmussen has Trump +5 nationally
http://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-rasmussen-poll-2016-9

" Donald Trump is up 5 points nationally over Hillary Clinton in a four-way race, a Thursday poll from right-leaning Rasmussen found.

It's the Republican nominee's largest lead in the poll since mid-July.

In the poll that also includes Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein, Trump holds a 44% to 39% advantage over Clinton.

It's an improvement from his 2-point lead in the four-way poll last week, and a much larger improvement from his 4-point deficit in early September.

The poll surveyed 1,000 likely voters between September 20 and 21. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. ......."

What do you folks think of Hillary's latest?
Something is definitely off with her.

My best 2 guesses are either --
(1) She is drugged up (which would explain the mania), or
(2) One or some of her highly paid political professionals told her to be "more assertive" or "more lively" or some such nonsense and this was the best she could muster

As much as I hate the whole idea of knocking a campaign on image, I cannot help but to see those bags and harken back to the discussions about how Nixon's 5:00 shadow during a debate helped to cost him the election against JFK. I'm thinking #PanderingHillary needs a new make-up artist...

It's like watching Bob Dole but without any integrity. She's a truly awful candidate.

And no Democrat has made a serious effort to stop right to work in 60 years. A political hack who's sold out to the biggest business interests in the world isn't going to be the first. A much more likely scenario would be for Trump to find out what right to work actually is and flip-flop it.

Everyday that goes by it seems more and more likely Trump will win the Presidency. It also seems like each day that goes by the Libs fade of the board more and more. It makes you think they are starting to think the same thing. Or is it just got to the point that they get tired of having to defend positions that's not defendable? Really, they never comment on the refugee situation, the Pay for play, Paying for hostages, Emails, and all the other corruptions that I didn't mention. SH challenges JF about who started the birther movement and asked for facts. JF gives facts and he disappears. I miss those guys already. :)

Depends. When Trump stops saying stupid ****, you sort of lose all argument for Hillary.

This is the husband of Hillary's closest aide

I need to get a prediction on the record before it's too late. Anthony Weiner is going to do porn. Why do I think so?

First, he's a joke and will never get a job in politics or anything else again. Especially now that Huma is kicking him the curb, he's done. Second, there's no reason to suspect that he'd have a moral aversion to it. Hell, he posts photos of his junk online. Third, it would sell. In addition to the usual losers who buy porn, it would sell to political types who have a sick curiosity. Finally, he wouldn't need a stage name. His real name is a much better porn name than Carlos Danger ever was.

Anyway, when you hear about him going into that business, just remember that you heard it from me first.

I have been saying forever that only taxpayers should be allowed to vote. You should not be able to vote yourself a paycheck from public funds.
Or, maybe more fairly, tax payers get to vote on how the money is appropriated.

Or, maybe more fairly, tax payers get to vote on how the money is appropriated.

Let's define "taxpayers". Federal taxpayers? The poor in King County (Seattle) WA pay 9.86% sales tax on everything but food. Throw in additional property, gas, automobile and other taxes and it's clear that poor pay taxes. They may not pay federal taxes and may be a net beneficiary but they are a "taxpayer".

This is a bit of a ridiculous topic for discussion. How would you define a "taxpayer?" Is it only federal taxes, or do state and local taxes count? If only federal taxes count, are only income taxes applicable? What if someone pays FICA taxes but not income taxes? Does it matter how much or how little they pay? What if they pay federal gasoline taxes? What if they purchase items that are subject to tariffs? Also, how would this be enforced? Would you produce your tax return to the election judge for him to verify your status as a taxpayer? Finally, what if you're a non-taxpayer due to retirement or disability? Suppose you're a productive, taxpaying citizen and then break your neck and become a quadriplegic and never work or pay taxes again. Seems to add insult to injury to tell that guy that in addition to never being able to walk or move again, he'll never get to vote again. Suppose you're a private in the Army (and therefore likely make too little to pay taxes). Should you be expected to fight and die for a country that won't let you vote? Doesn't seem very fair.

And in case you all didn't know, the 24th Amendment pretty much eliminated this as a serious option. So if we're going to talk about this, then maybe we should talk about Obama or George W. Bush seeking a third term or perhaps forced quartering of US troops in private homes, etc.

Let's define "taxpayers". Federal taxpayers? .....

I actually editorialized with that line in federal court once. I said "blah, blah ... the taxpayer, perhaps a misnomer in this case, blah blah...."
The courtroom was pretty full since the local guy was well known. One guy sitting out in the gallery was so shocked by what he heard that he burst into laughter. Which caused others there to snicker.
I was immediately admonished by the judge. But it was worth it.
But then the very next day, I got strep throat (hand of God?)

Was in Salt Lake City District Court, which if you have never been, is a converted old post office. Absolutely beautiful. Fabulous woodwork. Probably cost a ton to bring it back like that, but the nicest I have ever seen.

Ted Cruz just showed he has no honor or integrity supporting Trump and choosing his political party over his family. Cruz has lost all of my support. Cruz better hope Trump appoints him to the Supreme Court because he is losing his senate seat after this.

This move doesn't make a lot of sense to me. The Trump people aren't going to embrace him in the wake of this.

Cruz for the open seat on SCOTUS?
I would be fine with this choice

Might make for an interesting confirmation hearing --
(A) many of them (most of them) dont like Cruz (he did call McConnell a liar on the Senate floor. LOL);
(B) on the other hand, they will be reticent to reject the new Pres' first offering
