That is wierd. It didn't work when I first checked it so I looked to see if I had done it right and I had. So I went back to the forum and it was working. Now its not again.
It is the pic of Earl running over the SMU guy. Let me try again.
SON OF A!!! well, I got it off of google images by entering "earl campbell texas". Maybe one of you geniuses can figure it out. I got sleep in my future.
Vegashorn,
I don't have a picture, but I sure remember the 1963 Carlisle interception of Trull's pass, right below me--I was at the top of the knothole section. There is at least one fairly well-known picture of it. By the way, we were up 7-0, with less than a minute to play.
Texas Our Texas,
Thanks for the Jim Bertelsen picture--I have the Sports Illustrated showing the original photo. This was just after we made a goal-line stand to preserve a 14-7 lead; Bertelsen went 13 yards, but almost 99. We went on to manhandle the Hogs 42-7 for our 30th straight win, 52 weeks after the famous 15-14 game. I watched that game on my brother's color TV, just after acing my SAT (December 5, 1970).
How about the picture right after stockton made the game winning field goal agianst A&M in 1998 for the 26-24 victory. It is taken from A&M side as Stockton in running back to the Horn sideline with the players and fans going nuts.
Thanks for hosting the photo and giving everyone a chance to see it.
It's a classic... Earl is in a badass pose, it appears as though the SMU player has just been cleated in the chest, the SMU band is resigned to another afternoon of Pony football suckage and no one in Dallas wanted to attend, other than Ashton Kutcher's trucker hat wearin' dad.
LonghornScott that is allsome, looks like the whole Thuggalo football squad is forming a long line behind Ced in their futile chase. Looks almost choreographed like something from a low budget sports movie.
does anyone have the pic of sloan catching a pass in the dreaded CU game, where he looks like he is about 6 feet in the air? i had it on my computer but it crashed recently. i loved it so much.
