i wanted to let you know the story behind the picture of earl hurdling the ou defender. my old man took that picture from field level w/ an all access pass provided by one of the trainers at that time. it was published 3 years ago in usa today w/ credit given to an unknown someone. when my dad saw it, he took the negative to the ut sports information office and was given the proper rights to the photo. it definitely took some doing though...chris plonsky and all.

just thought you might like to know. i think my old man has actually emailed you asking where you got that one before. he said, thanks for the reply.

jcdenton, that picture of vyoung running past byron jones #11 is down right hilarious. I think i might have seen that happen around 100 times over the course of his career.

Wish someone would post the earl/SMU photo where he crushed the defender - it was made into a poster with the SMU band looking on.
 
I like the picture from the aggy game last year after one of Ced's TD, BJ was on one knee pretending to take a picture of Ced. I have it on a different computer. Maybe someone can find it and post it.
 
The original (I think) of that photo with Earl and the stampeding cattle is from a 30 foot wall mural. It's now at the V&V/J-Bar-B/Earl Campbell sausage exotic game ranch between Cistern and Waelder.
