Coronavirus

No doubt about it.

This past week the private school my daughter attends sent us an email basically telling us they will get a loan for $1.9 million from the SBA that they will default on (it's forgiven if they keep everyone on the payroll; remember, we're still paying tuition to them). They also said it's not a conflict between the government and religion (this is a highly Christian school) because the loan is administered through a bank so the buffer means they won't have to give up their principles.

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai claiming Fauci and Birx are not helping Trump at all and are using their bogus models to help the left destroy the economy and bringing in socialism/ communism. Vaccine cards proving an American has been vaccinated would also lead to more Big Pharma dependence which plays in to The Clinton, Gates Liberal Machine. He has started a petition to fire Fauci. He is credible and has the back ground to know what he's talking about. I'm not sure since I am not in the Medical Field, how to take this.

Gotta say this looks like a fawning journalist interviewing a scientist engaged in way outside the box thinking and both interviewer and interviewee are spouting Trumpisms about as fast as they talk.

Crockett,
Hope your doing great man. Getting tired of all the West Mall politic stuff. I would rather be talking Spring Football! I’m not smart enough to argue with Dr’s. So I let them do what they do.

President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak – especially his response to initial reports of coronavirus cases overseas – is widely criticized. Nearly two-thirds of Americans (65%) say Trump was too slow to take major steps to address the threat to the United States when cases of the disease were first reported in other countries.

Par for the course for government.

Here is something for everyone. If you are under 45, coronavirus is like the flu. And, young folks should mingle to get to herd immunity faster. If you are older than 45, it is worse than the flu and you should try to avoid catching it.

Gee, with the misinformation coming out of the news 24/7 is that a big surprise? However, listening to the professionals from the Covid-19 team they say that the initial problems we experienced were due to misinformation from China and WHO. Were they wrong?

What specifically should Trump have done an exactly when?

I think Trump should have issued a travel ban on Europe a few weeks earlier. It also would have been nice to have more tests available but I don't think Trump can be blamed for the CDC's incompetence.

I just hope going forward, the medical industry has a strategic stock of the resources needed to deal with viral outbreaks. I also hope the power of the FDA and CDC gets whittled way down to allow for a quicker and more robust response from private industry when something else comes up.

The FDA kept all other tests except for a CDC developed test out of the market for at lease a month, in order to give the CDC an advantage over privately developed tests. Then the CDC test proved itself a failure. Only then did the FDA let private players enter the market. A complete betrayal of human life.

Yes. Information was in the daily briefings about this.

Who do those guys work for? The best leaders credit their staff for wins and take the blame for losses. This mother ****** does the opposite.

Be serious about testing and contact tracing. He didn’t nothing in February except call it a hoax and have campaign rallies. My organization had a task force in early february.
And what did your organization do about it?

The day after this was declared an emergency by the WHO Trump put in a travel ban, which the libs criticized him for. What did any lib do to mitigate the problem?

What plan has any lib in Congress put forth? What has mumbles Biden put forth?

Bottom line, the CDC and WHO suck at their jobs. So do the libs and the Republicans except Tom Cotton in this instance.

You're the one that wants big government to take care of you. It will never work because the incentives and constraints of politicians don't align with those of private citizens.
