Coronavirus

Bad news for libtards. Look closely at independents and their view of the Presidents briefings.

From what I've read, the decision to consolidate the pandemic response team (It was totally eliminated.) was John Bolton's, not Trump's. The Left likes John Bolton now, right? They did just two months ago, and I don't remember any of them complaining about the move at the time. Why not? Because the NSC staff was considered too big.

And he should eliminate funding for the WHO. They've put out disinformation and propaganda for China, and they failed the world on this. We didn't give money to Joseph Goebbels during WWII or to Pravda during the Cold War. Why would we give money to the WHO now? If they want to shitcan everybody there and replace them with non-hacks and then fumigate the place, then I'm all for restoring their funding. But until that happens, we'd be crazy to give them money.

The use of the word may in link is relevant.
The money a hospital get for treating a covid patient is relevant as well.
My niece works in ahospital billing department)
Coronavirus patient in isolation = $13,000 per 24 hours.
Coronavirus patient in ICU= $20,000 per 24 hours.

One guess who will be paying those bills?

With non elective treatment delayed and loss of income huge who would blame hospitals for gaming fed money?

Those costs are billed charges. Insurance and Medicare will pay off of diagnostic related grouping codes. Hospitals bill whatever the heck they want to bill. Much like the Honey Badger, Medicare don't care. The DRG for pneumonia will be the same as the DRG for "COVID-19". The only real place that billed charges come into play will be on end of year audit and when the hospital goes to collect for the $100,000 bill in court it will show up on the judgment that will go against the patient. I'd expect that if the government bails out hospitals it will play out with an increase in their Medicare %. But, I don't know.

Gaming the feds may not have been the right choice of words
I can see this might be a more efficient way to keep hospitals going until elective care can be given. It is not the hospitals fault they can not do surgeries and treatment that may not be life threatening but do improve quality of life.

Gone 20 years and don't miss it one tiny bit.
The Austin house was certainly within Travis County but was NOT subject to the City of Houston (or for that matter, even West Lake Hills). There are some advantages to being in those little pockets of unincorporated Travis County BESIDES not having to overpay on property tax...

(If I went down a few houses, I would have been in the limits of West Lake Hills).

Folks, just call five pharmacies — any five you want, anywhere in the US. Then please report back. I’m telling you, availability is very tight.
Even GoodRx has a reference to supply issues, leading on the generic pricing page with "Alert: Researchers are investigating hydroxychloroquine as a possible treatment for COVID-19, but pharmacies are starting to experience shortages and need to save supply for patients taking the drug for approved therapy"

As someone pointed out on Twitter: where is antifa during these fascist times? Are they really anti-fascist or just communist?

So NYC just added 3700 deaths to covid-19 cause even though none had been tested for the virus
https://www.americanthinker.com/blo...uhan_virus_dead_by_recategorizing_deaths.html

Why? One reason may be that hospitals get fed money for treating virus patients

Early on, the methodologies for reporting COVID-19 deaths varied widely between states. In New York, cases weren't reported at all unless they were confirmed by a test. Governor Cuomo has been saying for weeks that New York's numbers were understated because many patients died before tests were available, or before a test could be administered, or because they chose not to be tested.

Last week, the CDC issued guidance indicating that unconfirmed cases should be included in the death count, so long as there is strong evidence that the death was COVID-related. These unconfirmed cases are reported as "probable", separate from the confirmed cases. New York is in the process of updating its death count to comply with the CDC guidance. There will be further adjustments in the coming days.

He plays music. He should just stick to that. Who gives a **** what he has to say?

He made some snide remarks at his Kennedy Center thing several years ago. Took a shot at W by saying something along the lines of how smart Obama was and how it was great to have a President who can read or knows what a library is or something.

Couldn't just say thank for the award and then STFU.

Just stick to music, *******.

Oh, LH thought that ^^^ was Funny. Then I know I'm right because LH is always wrong.

Of course, I was being sarcastic. When Trump blames China the racism card is applied with a trowel. Will they lay it thick on McCartney?

It's like the allegations against Biden by that woman. Where is the all out assault?

Oh believe me, I know you were! I just took it as an opportunity to rant about Sir Paul. I still love his music. Just don't care what he has to say otherwise.

No, he will not be called a racist, naturally. And the liberal idiots won't complain either.

Correction -- the new guidance was not from "last week" as I stated above. It was from earlier this week (4/14), but was based on recommendations made last week by a panel of state epidemiologists. Here's a quote from this page on the CDC website:

*As of April 14, 2020, CDC case counts and death counts include both confirmed and probable cases and deaths. This change was made to reflect an interim COVID-19 position statement issued by the Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists on April 5, 2020. The position statement included a case definition and made COVID-19 a nationally notifiable disease.

A confirmed case or death is defined by meeting confirmatory laboratory evidence for COVID-19. A probable case or death is defined by i) meeting clinical criteria AND epidemiologic evidence with no confirmatory laboratory testing performed for COVID-19; or ii) meeting presumptive laboratory evidence AND either clinical criteria OR epidemiologic evidence; or iii) meeting vital records criteria with no confirmatory laboratory testing performed for COVID19.
