I don't get this. My girlfriend had a chronic cough going on and made an appointment for Monday. They tested her and said she didn't have the virus. There was no strict anything. She just had a sporadic cough. She was fine otherwise. No fever. No nothing.

I'm giving you first hand knowledge. Ok ok... who am I? AN HONEST MAN! The media reports are interesting because it's not my experience at all.

I knew a Muslim lady very well a few years ago. Her family was from Pakistan. Very devout Muslims. But they LOVED Joel Osteen. Maybe it's the same thing as your mother. Sometimes there is a message that resonates; it's called being positive I guess.

One school of thought says not to try to artificially pump up the stock market with absurdly low interest rates, easing, etc. Let it correct and come back on it’s own. There’s the real economy (GDP, employment, etc) and then there’s the market. Take the necessary public health measures to deal with the virus, use stimuli when necessary to smooth out downturns in the real economy, but spare the gimmicks used to prop up the stock markets.

We don’t want to end up like Japan the last two decades with zero (or negative) interest rates, zero growth, etc. It’s better than the Great Depression, but it will downgrade us to a second rate power. The last interest rate cut trimmed it down to next to nothing. Where’s the Fed supposed to cut from here...?!?
