Coronavirus

I had thought that Piers was starting to come around lately. Apparently I was wrong.

Piers, dude, did Trump suggest that folks ingest disinfectant, or did the MSM “say that Trump said that?” It would be the latter.

I’ll bet that the MSM has hundreds of flunkies obsessively checking every death and obituary in the country, hoping to find one case of an individual that ingested disinfectant and died. In fact, one can assume — given their illogical hatred of “Orange Man” — that they are keeping their fingers crossed, basically pulling for bad news which, for them, would be wonderful news.

There are some really twisted folks out there and sadly, many of them work for the media.

I read that in Hawaii you are allowed to swim and surf but you can’t hang out on the beach.

What’s amazing is how the bots on this forum can never provide an original thought or discussion. Well I guess I answered my own thought. They are not human partisans. They are bots.

I am sick of politicians and news media saying, “we are in this together.” Oh yes? Are you still drawing a salary? If yes, then you are not in it together with restaurants, bartenders, beauticians, dentists, retail stores or anyone else forced home without income. So shut up, rescind your salary and show common sense.

What is even more serious and less understood is the role of asymptomstic carriers. Also strong evidence that survivors may not have secondary immunity for very long if at all. Now 30 mutations identified by Chinese medical professionals. Kind of like the flu or common cold. That is very scary on the long term.

"Strong evidence"

The studies are showing the corona virus is mutating to become LESS dangerous, not more.

LongestHorn, if you are not a dip**** you may be able to understand this.

The US is testing MORE people everyday. What happens when you test more people?

The % of people tested who are positive from COVID is going down.

I recall saying in early April that post peak the number of cases will be going down at the same time testing is continuing to ramp up. I’m glad that more medical offices and locations are offering the test. The issue of a possibly-infected worker not getting tested and thus shutting down an office for 14 days without a positive test is gone now. I hope this only gets better in the next month as more people return to work.

He spelled Nobel correctly on all previous mentions of the Nobel prize. Just like with his sarcastic comment a few days ago he just loves to troll these libs.

I don't think he was trolling by misspelling it. His phone probably just auto-corrected or chose the wrong word, and he didn't catch the error. Happens to me all the time.

Global coronavirus death toll could be 60% higher than reported | Free to read

This is interesting. I don't think it applies a whole lot to the US as compared to lesser developed countries.

I think the analysis is pretty superficial, because it basically presumes without evidence that these people died of Coronavirus. However, the overall point is likely true. I'm sure that plenty of people who died in the last few months of respiratory problems actually had Coronavirus but were never tested for it.

But like I mentioned earlier, a serious journalist rather than a propagandist should also mention that we're also almost surely underreporting cases by far more than were underreporting deaths.
