Some people will do anything to get clicks or give their ratings a boost. You have to be one of the most naive dolts on the face of the earth to think there's a snowballs chance in a blast furnace of this happening.

Sark is still paying the electric bill from the settlement in his wrongful termination at USC. He gets to go home each night in Austin, Texas, to Loreal. CDC knew exactly what he was doing and exactly what he was getting. In other words, stop hiring Group of Five coaches and find the guy that Nick Saban sought out to be his OC. That wasn't rocket science, knowing that the news of the SEC move was going to go public in a couple of months (which Sark knew about and apparently Lincoln Riley didn't). Steve will get his coin. I'm sure he is not worried.

Well, universities in Michigan screwed the pooch…don’t they know they should have sovereign immunity to protect themselves against messy lawsuits that uncover their mendacity?

The Spartans spluged all over this messy situation.

:msu:

And their distant cousins, the Trojans, weren’t there to cover it up or keep it under wrap.

Coach should have sprinkled some nutmeg from UConn on it and call it egg nog.

It's amazing to me still how much some guys will put at risk for a little tail (Chris Beard). Or, in Mel Tucker's case, some over-the-phone virtual tail.

Long-time former Hawai'i coach Bob Wagner (1980s - mid-1990s) passed on. He posted a career winning record with da' Bows (which is not an easy thing to do).

RIP

Sam Pittman may not have much time left in the pig-pen.

Nahhhhhh, I can't help myself...

Sam Pittman buyout:

It's based on whether the Hogs' record since the start of the 2021 season is at or above .500. Right now, Pittman is 18-16 since the start of the 2021 season. (gotta wait for him to lose some more games...)

With .500 or better record: 75% of a $22.1 million buyout = $16,575,000
With a below-.500 record: 50% of a $22.1 = $11,050,000

:ark:

Pittman is on top.
The Razorback football program is beneath him.
