I think the room disappeared when his visit to A&M disappeared this weekend. I think I read on their front page that he is visiting UCLA this weekend. However, it's late I could be wrong.
BTW, Alanz has officially declared it crunch time.

In case you did not know from yesterday that this is the time where everything gets truly crazy. The schools are trying to finish off their classes right now so you will see visits cancelled, the backing off of some players the pressure on others to commit, etc...
The last few months have been prelude, now is time for the big finish. If you thought the last 3 months have been up and down, "you ain't seen nothing yet". So grab the tums, apologize to the girlfriend or wife and get ready because it gets real crazy from here on.

I like the new Robert Merril post from Hop. Merril claims he's close to qualifying. Others disagree. We'll know for sure if A&M offers him this week. I.e., if A&M offers him, he'll immediately be referred to as "close to qualifying", else he'll be termed "a longshot."
That's the kind of sweet predetermined -- with predetermination explained -- recruiting reporting you just don't get with your average pay site.

coachkiss - yes, that post is the one we're talking about when we say "ups and downs and twists and turns". This is getting ready to be the best comedy show in the history of the internet.

CA - I've been watching their threads all night. While you may be right (Andrews), I think there's more bad news that he knows about. It's just not out yet.
Rob- we are on thin ice here. we don't know who is going to eventually read this. history tells us that site will single-handedly screw up two recruits for them next year(if not more). we need that place in tact and active. it has no bearing on our recruiting, but it has a huge effect on theirs.

One fan's take on who the ten freshmen will be that will get PT next year. For the record, 3 of the 4 have not committed, and two of them have committed other places. One, Pope, is Derek (sp?) Pope who is JUCO now, not his brother, Rashawn, who is a senior at Galveston Ball, I believe. Truly amazing visions of grandeur. Sometimes I think that Alanz is Walter Mitty.
1. Pegrem-Man our kicking was bad this year, he will score quite a few points next year. He couldhave helped us a lot this year.
2. Eric Winston-Havenot gotten him yet, but he will come in and start or compete with Carringer right away, don't look for Carringer to give up his starting spot without a fight.
3. Manning-He is a inside guy all the way and comes in with the most physically developed body, I see pushing Morris to start.
4. Germany-Great athlete who can run under a 4.8 and has the size to play immediately, I see him and Winston playing alot.
5. Jolly-this guy may have played last year. Has the best body of all the def linemen recruited last year and is coming in ready to play, I think he sees sig time at def end.
6. Rashawn Pope-probably misspelled his name but if we can get him in from Jucos, I see him starting at outside or inside if the other guys are not ready or giving Jesse a heckuva run, Ireally would love to get this young man. He is a great athlete and I hope the bros come.
7. Aldo-the only off linemen that I see getting pt next year. He is physically ready to play and will compete for a guard position.
8. Riley-if the man can catch a pass over the middle and give us some physicalness at receiver and be able to break jams, no way we can keep him off the field even with Bethel, Taylor, Murphy, Thomas, Goynes, Singleton, Woods, Roberson, and Kimbrough. That is a lot of depth, so if he is not sig better he will redshirt, but if he can give us that physical ness, man that would be great.
9. Byrdsong or McDaniel-ok these two are longshots to see the field next year, but lets be frank they are studs and if we get them they will see immediate pt and push Gamble and Jarrod Morris. They also have the most physically developed lb's out of our class besides Manning. I love Azzie, Flood, and Matakis, I think though with a redshirt year, they can get a lot bigger, Byrdsong and Manning are probably a little closer to being ready right now. That does not mean I don't think they are great players. I love Flood and after a rs year, we have 3 years of him terrorizing qb's. He needs to get to about 225.
10. McNEal-How can you go without the real deal, this guy could shoot all the way up to number 1, if that happens that could be either good or bad, it would mean that all the other qb's stink and are not getting the job done and RC pulls the shirt, or he is just that good that he jumps over Mark 3 year starter 27 year old, Vance 22 year old rs senior, Dustin a rs junior, Carter a soph, and Mike Pankratz a rs fish. That would be quite spectacular. Don't see it happening, but just watching this guy kick *** on scout team will push the other qb's that much more knowing that next year, or even the next poss year this guy will be knocking on some wood.
These guys are very important to the improvement and the winning of next year's team, if these things do not happen or some of them we will have areas of weakness if all these things happen I look for us to be a very good football team. my worry is this- if that was your employee, would you have ****-canned them by now? don't answer, i already know.

FYI, Physical Ness is a 1 star sleeper whom RC is recruiting. His older brothers, Elliott and Loch, played for the WC.

I actually haven't gong into their chat rooms in a long time. That's why I was asking whenthe next chat was.
Their repeated signup and cancel ploy paranoid allegation is hilarious. I actually originally wanted to sign up just to see if they had any interesting info re UT recruits -- in other words, because I thought they might have real info to offer. When I paid my $5 and it didn't work, I asked Burton himself, who was helping me with another issue, and he told me the Websider guys didn't allow people to just add them on for $5 (must sign up through Websider originally), so I should cancel my membership. So I did. End of story (except for Rivals glitches on The-University.com stuff).
In fact, just me typing that will probably now make them put Burton squarely in the middle of their insane paranoid fantasies.
