rp- i agree. actually, all of those sites have some sort of problems. if they were smart they would get Luichi and start a site from scratch. Alliance Sports will NEVER take Max Emfinger.

how many people here have been on their chat and what did you see? it has been AMAZING every time i've been there. there's always some huge alleged "disaster" waiting to happen for TX and a huge great "suprise" waiting to happen for aTm. of course, it never happens, but it is hillarious to read.

anyone have any highlites?

I was going to let this slip down, but they hits keep coming.

Now, in response to the horrid thought that other schools could read vital information posted on Websider about A&M recruiting (???), there is a long thread on starting a "Super Premium Board."

There will be an "authenticiation" of one's true Aggie-ness to join. This apparently will involve sending a wallet-sized photo of your diploma, a picture of yourself in Aggie garb and other proof.

AlanZ says he's not sure how to do it -- and if it were Aggie grads only, he would be excluded -- but, "We are working with Rivals.com to help improve the security of the premium forum and to keep out the scum."
 
Won't work. My neighbor is an aggie but he thinks EllenZ is a tool. My neighbor would loan me all the necessary "proof" in a heartbeat.

Hilariously, he STILL is gripped by frightening paranoia and thinks that I was pulling some kind of daily sign up and cancel routine with Websider (has no idea it was their stupid system, about which I made many posts over the last month on Ketch's board -- and the one time I bought it I cancelled it after talking with EllenZ's boss, Bobby Burton):

on the webliar hatred scale you've probably moved up to a high 4 star poster(myself and BobR being the only current 5 stars on the hatred scale), but this certainly is helping your efforts.

I could spoof my ISP and they'd never know where the hell I was coming from. And if they do do that and any of you guys lose access, just let me know and I'll post on here a quick way to work around it.

Not only that, but someone who HAS NOT been banned yet needs to go sign up. Make a post identifyng yourself as a Longhorn (nothing nasty just "howdy yall I'm a Longhorn"). Then once they ban you - they will - sue their asses. I'll leave it to RP to read throught their T&C but I don't think they have anything in there giving them free reign.

The really funny thing is how utterly oblvious EllenZ is to how much he opens himself if anyone wanted to be a real dick to him. Along those lines, if anyone really wanted to **** with him, they could whip up a libel complaint in about an hour and sail all the way through summary judgment stage at least -- costing him thousands -- on just about any one of his posts. Rivals would probably dump his *** in a second, too (as you know they're looking for any excuse at this point).

That would be a crime, however, as he'd clam up and we'd lose our hourly comedic fix. So nobody do it. Please!!

On the other hand, deposing him would be just about the funniest ******* thing of all time. Video depo, of course. Posted on the web, of course.

And yeah Rob your right. I don't think we could make it thru a recruiting season without him around. It'd get WAY too boring.

there is no debate on this. they hate me worse you and are not going to catch me anytime soon(at least i hope not). i have worked my *** off to get this amount of hatred. i don't know that i'll ever catch BobR though. you're up there though.

we do need to see their next chat. "investigations" is my favorite.

I think EllenZ got a bad feeling when he was on the phone with Winston. He's preparing them for the coming implosion - a few aggies on that thread seemed to catch on.

You mean in response to what a "down" might be, his statement that "us not recruiting some guys we thought A&M was hot after would be a down."

The Aggies probably will "not recruit" Winston, E-mac, Leitko and Byrd from now on.
 
like i've said, that guy calling recruits is GREAT. his communication skills are obviously troll. then, we can look forward to an article which looks like a 4th grader wrote. then, there will be some incredible spin how "everything is going great". when a recruit commits elsewhere, there's the usual meltdown. you can't script it any better.

we need him there almost as much as we need RC to stay.
