I'm curious. I've never signed up for Aggie Websider, but of course, got the "User has been blacklisted" message when clicking on some link or another. I guess the Longhorn in the name is enough to do it.

When registering for an account there, what agreements are made? Is there anything about swearing that you are an Aggie or anything? Or is that just expected?

for those of you not familiar w/ this, it has been going on for months. that place is littered posts exactly like the ones rpongett just posted(thanks rp). why? it's because TX is kicking *** in recruiting and on the field. w/ every great commit TX gets and great recruit they don't get, their anger grows even stronger. does anyone find it interesting that roughly an hour after Vincent Young committed to TX and the news that Winston(who they've called an "aggie lock") was strongly considering TX, this whole escapade erupted? hmmm.

how bitter do you think it was for them watch TX finish in the top 5 while they were playing a .500 TCU team in the furniture bowl? now, they see this remarkable recruiting class TX is lining up and realizing the team they absolutely hate is getting stronger. they can't stand it. in addition, their recruiting is in disarray(5 decommits, McNeal reported to visit Arkansas, etc) and they are getting their *** kicked by TX and OU. now, even lesser schools are stealing their commitments.

so, what's the resolution? they KNOW recruits and their families read the internet. think of the most distasteful traits you can label a person w/, then LIE and accuse the enemy of it.

1. racism or allowing racist comments.
2. "making fun of" those who died in the Bonfire tragedy.
3. making fun of or negatively commenting on certain religions.
4. "slamming" recruits.
and on, and on.

complete utter ********. no links. no quotes. no foundation. no evidence. zip. completely made up.

the hope is recruits or members of their family will somehow stuble across this ********, incorrectly believe it, and have a negative opinion about TX. it's a desperate last ditch effort to derail TX recruiting. unfortunately their futile attempt hasn't worked and TX recruiting is stronger than anyone in the country right now. in fact, that site is about as unproductive for recruiting as it could possibly be. what i would pay to hear RC's comments about that place.

This may be the strangest thing I have ever witnessed on an internet BBS. I think we are in our 7th iteration of aggie spin on AZ's meltdown.

The reference to this being Family Guy funny is right on. It's like a giant non sequiter that won't stop.
 
this definitely belongs in the classics. this just gets better and better. now, there was no spite in any of this. it was all an "experiment" to sniff out "cakes" and rpongett in which they(and others) were unknowing participants. ah, i see. clever ******** aren't they. they "tricked" you guys.

thank you for starting this thread. this is a close second to their chat sessions as far as humor. i haven't laughed this hard in awhile.

btw- for those who haven't been on their chat, i highly recommend it. you couldn't make up some of the stuff you'll read.

I just figured out what their insane ramblings about my "unethical" daily cancellations of Websider were about -- what a bunch of complete and total idiots.

Remember when my Rivals Premium account was ******* up two weeks ago and I kept positng those messages on Ketch's Recruiting Board asking "Help, Rivals account messing up?" The messages are still on Ketch's board about it:The LinkThe LinkThe Link

Rivals system kept cancellig my the-university.com account because of some stupid glitch and I kept having to call/post/e-mail people about it constantly to get them to fix it. It really annoyed the **** out of me, to be honest. But they fixed it about a week ago for good.

Like I said above, I tried to get Websider long before that, realized I couldn't and cancelled.

When my the-university.com account was clicking back and forth -- screwing me out of several days of updates, by the way -- it must have been been clicking that old Websider premium **** too.

THESE F-ING PARANOID IDIOTS THINK IT WAS SOME KIND OF UNETHICAL PLOY TO DAILY CANCEL WEBSIDER ACCESS!

Hahahahaha!!!!!

These freaks are more paranoid than a convention of X-Files nerds.

I still have my e-mails with Burton with him tyring to fix my account, too.
