So, I thought the same thing until I read comment on a YouTube video I watched.

But it's the four highest ranked conference champions which could come from any conference.

  • The four highest-ranked conference champions will be seeded one through four and will receive a first-round bye. The fifth conference champion will be seeded where it was ranked or at No. 12 if it is outside the top 12 rankings. Non-conference champions ranked in the top four will be seeded beginning at No. 5. Because of this, the seeding, 1 through 12, could look different than the final rankings.

Yes, could be Bosie State over a lame Big 12 champ.
 
Of course i dont think vanderbilt should be ranked higher than alabama, but vanderbilt dominated alabama. Was not a fluke win. Vanderbilt should earn a top 25 spot IMO. even though it has two losses.
Obviously, we will have to play well to beat vanderbilt. They can run and pass.
 
The Nebr Coach made a good point I think. With NIL and portal there will be more BIG upsets. IMO the NIL will effect team rosters the most.

While technically it is open to the highest ranked conference champions, do you really believe there will ever be a mountain west team (or similar) with a champion ranked higher than the P4 champions? There's too much money on the line to allow that to happen.
 
Unfortunately because of our poor offensive showing today, Bama is going to pass Texas again for #1.
 
Well, the studio morons after the game said it wasn't really a dominating win in spite of the final score.

That is what Texas gets. No other SEC/#1 team ever gets that sort of disrespect in a huge rivalry game win.
 
It may have been mentioned somewhere else but... at one point, Kirk Herbstreit made the comment that he didn't think nou could score. And that was in the second quarter. He was right.

It matters to me but it has been a while since we have been this good.

I think the media is scared to pump us up thinking we might screw the pooch.

I don’t know if we would be undefeated this year if we stayed in the B12 and faced BYU, Utah, ISU, ASU, and KSU.
