2025 Recruiting - Football

Portal—
Big Upperclassman interior DT to give a look:

Leslie Adindu
Jr
6’4”
300 lbs
Fort Worth (Arlington Heights HS)

Portalling somewhere from Southern U.

Terry mentioned he was looking forward to playing next to Collin, so I gather he's is an interior DL? Am I correct?

True frosh used to start and star most at DT and running back. Seems like the strength required for interior DL keeps increasing so I'm not sure that is the case anymore.

So I was just watching the On Texas Football interview with Bobby Burton and Justus Terry. Bobby asked about why he decommitted from USC. Terry said he looked at some of the details - like taxes😆

Smart young man, to recognize the impact of taxes in California - he may become a solid Conservative. And meanwhile Newscum gets the blame for the lack of recruiting success at USC. A win-win situation.

NIL is the new reality of college football. And no one has more resources than UT so that bodes well for us. But I'm sad that the days of kids coming to play for the Burnt Orange for the simple reason they love UT are probably over.

It’s just legal and above board, now. Pay for play has been going on since Bear Bryant was passing the hat in the (Dysfunction) Junction Boys era.

Switzer. Sherrill. Osborne. 💰talks.

Bubba I don't think so. There is nothing in Sark's history that indicates he will put Arch in for more than one or two plays in a game absent an injury to Ewers. If he were committed to the "Arch" package, he would put him out there for more than one play at a time which he has not done.

I believe Sark mentioned in his post press that he should have used Arch in the second half and in different situations

I think we should definitely use him more in the red zone. His ability to run and pass would just make it even more difficult for a defense especially since the field shrinks and those 10-15 yard routes that Ewers is so good at are easier to defend in the red zone.

Ignoring Ewers ability to go through stretches of ineffectiveness, I could see Sark using Arch in certain situations in your first two games (great draw, btw, relative to some of the others) just to force the future opponents to spend valuable practice and preparation time to prepare for the Arch package.

Ewers vacillates from the Dillon Gabriel to Jackson Arnold. If he plays like DG for the next few games the Longhorns are the favorite.

I was going to suggest that we start a Bubba Sponsorship Fund to help you out, but I found out that after I paid the postage to send it to Dion, I had no money left to donate.

:beertoast:

I would have given you a simple [hook'em] but I'm not a sponsor. :)

Good to see you as well.

That doesn't bother me (sponsor or not) unless you get ugly. I don't want to pay to get abused! Ha... So the more you pay the more abuse I'm willing to take. But I do have my limits!
