Great class so far. Slightly disapointed in the OL and QB. We are definitely fine at QB if nothing changes. Hope to get an excellent Olineman from the portal.
Is J Williams going to be a linebacker?

We lost that really tall OL from San Francisco. Other than that, the OL haul looks good. Those 6’5” 300 + lbs Coleman brothers should be good.

That OL from PNG looks like he could be of the Caucasian persuasion. Who knows, maybe he’s a Cherokee Indian…? :rolleyes1:

But who cares about their race, we take the best, even if they were all descendants of Tajikistanis or something.

I’ve lived all over and most residents of other states despise and envy the State of Texas. Even SEC Mike.

Hollywood has never made a movie that doesn’t portray Texas as a desert full of rednecks.

We do have pretty good depth at O-Line. Brandon Baker, last year's 5* tackle is still behind Cam Williams (Jr). (Could he declare early?) Goosby and Agbo are next up after Banks leaves this spring. Center depth concerns me a little.

My bigger concern is defensive tackle. We grabbed Sharma and Charles this year. but our current tackle depth is something to be desired. We're gonna need to hit the portal hard there. Only Alex January, Sydir Mitchel and Aaron Bryant remain once Broughton and Collins are gone. Lose a few senior/graduates behind them.
 
He ain't "Cherokee". There aren't many of us from PNG, and even fewer living in either town.

Do you include coonasses as "Caucasian"? Lots of those in MidCounty.

Pretty crazy how the ou dumpster fire moves to a Texas issue instead. Arch not being thrust into starting or saving a program right away seems like a bonus and hearing Kirby Smart say that exact thing kind of destroys the sooner post. Haters will hate.

We should bring in 2 interior DTs from the portal. Seniors, grad transfers, or at least juniors.

Mitchell's gonna keep losing weight and turn out to be a really good player. He will need frequent breathers.
Bryant isn't spectacular, but he's very strong and plays the run well.
Bledsoe is Mr. Super Athletic Freak for a big man.
January is the future super star.
Hills spun down from DE; he's quick, and he's now over 300 lbs.

One or both of the true Freshmen may get plenty of time next year if those above them don't pan out.
